The directions* to the campsite are a bit confusing, but once I did get there, it seriously took my breath away. I was there solo (with my pup), and it really was a spiritual experience. I can’t even imagine how fun it would be to have a full group out there! But the calmness of it was soul refreshing. Not to mention having that prime Shasta view all to myself.
Not a lot of shade (it was a sweltering 100 degrees) but one good Juniper and quite few solid tent spots with insane views of Shasta and the surrounding area. There was a little fire pit I didn’t end up using since it was just too hot to even need one.
As for the sunset, completely blew my mind. There were great horned owls hooting nearby and coyotes singing in the early morning, birds of all kinds flitting around and singing. It really was something I’ll never forget. Especially rolling out of my tent to see that beautiful mountain face staring back at me in the morning. It was as close as you could get to what it might have been like a couple of hundred years ago when no one else was around. Would love to go back!
*As the directions note, you’ll take a left at the tall white pole marker after the Keefe mailbox. Then, follow the road until there’s a split and stay right. Not long after, you’ll come upon a second split and see the Mosher real estate sign on the left. Turn left here and follow the road up over lots of sagebrush to the campsites. High clearance recommended and it’ll do a number on your car’s underside.

This was a fantastic campsite. The view is stunning, as it's situated directly on the ridge. Secluded and private, it feels like camping should. Very hot during the day FYI. Highly recommended -- many thanks to the hosts.
Separately, I'd recommend adding the directions Juliana (one of the other reviewers) made to the official listing. The given directions are... inaccurate, and miss a few turns -- we were thanking god for Juliana's good directions. In addition, here are the GPS coordinates for future campers: 41.5216260,-122.3518513.
Despite it being in NorCal, it's very hot in the region during the summer, 3 digits - so pack properly. After the long hike we ate at Coco's, this great Mongolian BBQ in Redding, a city nearby.
I almost don’t want to admit how amazing this site was because I want it to always be available to return to! It was a little tricky to find and you’ll definitely want a bigger car with good tires. It was truly a 360 view with an amazing sunset, amazing constellations and a beautiful sunrise. We will be back!

Wow, what a place! We really enjoyed Mt. Shasta 360, certainly lived up to it's name!
The site is remote but relatively easy to find. Any work in finding the site is rewarded with unbelievable views of Mt. Shasta! Only thing I'd add is that the real estate sign marking the property entrance is the second left fork in the road.
Thanks, will definitely be back!

The views and experience were absolutely incredible!
On a clear day the view is amazing. Even with clouds you know you are in a very special place. The instructions are easy enough to follow. Make sure you are coming from the right starting point and follow every step carefully. We'll definitely be booking this place again!

This place was incredible. 360 degree views like I’ve never experienced before. And at night we say more stars than I though possible.
The site was easy enough to find. A little confusing. I’d suggest an SUV or truck with good tires. The middle sections of the dirt/rock roads were grown over with brush. In some cases 2’ off the ground. A car could still drive over then but it would be more at risk of cosmetic damage or something getting caught in the under carriage.
We were the only people for what seemed like miles. Total privacy. Totally peaceful. We went in July so it was HOT during the day. I’d suggest you bring a canopy of some sort for shade as there is none on site. To help stay out of the heat we drove to some longer hikes during the hot hours. Night time was chilly in a good way. Perfect sleeping temps. We would absolutely come back.

Thank you! Sounds like you loved it as much as we do! We will work on improving the directions.
Amazing expansive views. Directions could be improved especially when there are forks in the road. We arrived at night and could not find the location. Found the site the next morning.
