Stacey and Joe were awesome hosts! Stacey took the time to give a full tour of the farm including letting me pet and be up close to the animals. It's a wonderful and large property that isn't too far from town but far enough to feel like you're out in the country! Here you'll find some rather rare animals that you might not see on the common farm. It's definitely a different but fun experience at the farm! I highly recommend staying here.
Stacie was an attentive host and made sure we were well taken care of. I travel with my two daughters and we felt very safe. This is a great place for children, the animals are very used to people and were fun to observe. Bubbles a 17 year old kitty was our constant companion and escorted me to the restroom at night. We had lovely farm fresh eggs for breakfast from the well fed chickens on the premises. This farm is primarily for special needs children but all are welcome. Watching happy goats frolick and alpacas racing about is good for the soul. There are so many kinds of animals I can’t tell you all about them in this review, you gotta come and see them all. On a side note Lake Perris State recreation area is minutes away if you want to take a swim or hike a trail.
The visit was AWESOME! We stayed overnight - my daughter's 12th B-day! She had 2 girlfriends with her and the 3 had a blast Sat aft/eve and Sun morn!! Stacey and Joe are great hosts - got the full tour - and more! We helped clean up pens, feed the animals, etc. It was a quite special Birthday treat!
I took my six year old niece to Mr. Joe's Farm for her first camping trip and she LOVED it -- actually we both did. It was the perfect spot for an introduction to camping because there was an indoor bathroom available and a separate spot for a tent, but it was rustic enough for a six year old. Stacey and Joe introduced us to all the animals and even allowed my niece to run around freely while all the animals were out in the evening. The goats and donkeys were especially friendly. Our evening ending with Madison watching Mr. Joe milk two goats. She fell soundly asleep and woke up promptly at 6:15am to observe the morning farm chores. Stacey provided us with our first ever taste of raw goat milk -- it was delicious. I highly recommend visiting Mr. Joe's Farm Camping. If she hadn't been going back to school on Monday, we would have stayed longer!
We had a wonderful stay at Mr Joe's farm! My kids, (7 and 9) had an absolute blast, petting and feeding the animals, helping to milk the goats, and exploring the 3-acre farm. The hosts were very genuine and accommodating , and always happy to answer all our questions about the animals. An enjoyable and memorable experience for us all.
We’re positively surprised!. We’re never met so real and warm people. It is totally family-oriented place. I strongly recommend this place and for sure we will come back there in the future.
I was desperately looking for a last minute, easy and close by campsite & accidentally came across Hipcamp.com. After reading some of the reviews on Mr. Joe's Farm Camping, I thought, this would be a great 1st time tent camping experience for my 2 grandsons (8 yrs & 4 yrs old). Mr. Joe's farm was not hard to find. Both Joe & Stacey were naturally nice people. They took their time to show us around, educated the kids on what to do & what not to do or how to act around the animals. My husband & I felt safe just letting our grandsons run around & playing with the animals. They had so much fun that they asked us if we could go camping there again. Overall, our stay was not bad. The only set back is the fact there was no shower in the campsite. I would gladly take some family members especially those with kids visit Mr Joe's farm for a day trip, have lunch there at their picnic tables while waiting for all the animals to be set free around 3pm or 4pm till around 8pm when they go back to theirs dens. I think 4 to 5 hrs for the kids to run around petting the animals is long enough. However, if you guys are brave enough to camp for 2 nights without a shower, why not? I survived!!! As a parting gift, Stacey packed a dozen of fresh brown eggs for the kids which I thought was a very nice touch.
