Beautiful location! Very unique. George was a helpful host and the campsites were well maintained. About 20 minutes to eastern Yosemite entrance (Tioga Pass)

Awesome property just outside the east exit of Yosemite. George has put some work into the camping spaces and they are everything you'd ever want. Sandy flat ground for a tent, private pit toilets a short walk from each site. There were firepits with grates (firewood available from George), a charcoal grill, and a table next to where we parked our car (Pinyon camp #1). Not to mention, an amazing sunset and lake view. Thank you, George!

The camp was even better than we expected. The stars at night were out of this world. George was fantastic! He gave us great recommendations. All of his directions were clear and easy. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone who wants quiet and solitude.

This place is gorgeous and very special. I've rarely seen such a dark night sky. Transporting.

George was a great host. We enjoyed our secluded camping very much where we saw the best milky way ever because of its remote location far from all lights. The hosts were very helpful and we had a good conversation regarding many things. George provided us with all the essentials needed for campfire as we were not prepared for the same. We could enjoy 360 views, sunset, sunrise and milky way without any need to travel. Only downside was finding the address. It was not immediately seen near the entrance.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Mono Camp.
George's land is gorgeous, and it's a quick drive into Yosemite or up to a bunch of gorgeous lakes and awesome hikes. There are dogs on the property, so if you're not a fan of canines this might not be the right spot for you, but I quite enjoyed them. Would absolutely stay here again.

Mono Camp was fantastic, with great views of Mono Lake. We were lucky enough to stay in the cabin, which had a great platform bed, all we had to bring was our sleeping bags. The campsite also has a fire pit, and we had a great time making smores and stargazing. We were alone at Mono Camp, and the cabin site was very private and quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. Would definitely recommend George's site.

Great campsite! Amazing views of Mono Lake! Best pit toilet ever, there is no door so your view of the landscape is amazing- I personally loved it. We had some questions when we arrived, so we drove up to the hosts house and he was very friendly, answered all our questions and gave us some swimming suggestions.
