Wow! Such a beautiful, private, clean spot in one of the most unique places. I love Mono Lake and Mono Camp made it a truly magical trip.

George was super attentive before arrival, was a great Host while there, and was able to provide firewood for really cheap. We met on arrival and he showed me around. I was so impressed! He is really excited to share his land with campers and I felt so welcomed.

Big Sage is a great place for larger groups. We came for a friend's birthday weekend and all 9 of us LOVED it. The site was very clean and as expected- lots of room to spread out, large firepit, astroturf for extra insulation (and cool greenery vibes), the toilet was very clean, running water available by the house, just all around amazing. The table that is set up is pretty spacious and we had no problem prepping meals on it.

One of the many great things about Mono Camp is the proximity to the Mono Lake. There's a forest road nearby that takes you pretty close to the shore. It's a 15-minute walk from where the road deadends. HIGHLY recommend driving down to the end and walking down to the lake. You'll have the whole place to yourself.

The sun rises at Mono Camp are unreal! Be sure to wake up early (30 minutes before sunrise) to watch the sun light up the Mono Basin and turn everything a spectrum of colors.

I can't wait to come back here.

Dog party! Rusty (the husky standing) lives on the property. Bella (white dog) lives on the adjacent property. She likes to come over and hang out with campers. Very friendly and well-behaved dogs! Such a cool place to set up camp! A short 15-minute walk from the end of the forest road by camp takes you to what feels like a completely different world! View of the lake from the end of the forest road. A quick 5-minute drive from camp!
