If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Mojave Run is a beautiful desert farm. The Mountain View’s and Joshua trees are worthy sightsee and of themselves! This is a functioning farm with many animals (horses, pigs, goats, dogs, donkeys). There are many places to set up a tent throughout the property. Norma is kind and friendly and made sure that our stay was comfortable!
Happy and satisfied with our hosts
What a great place to stay. Quiet, peaceful with views of the beautiful mountains, along side all of Norma’s well up kept gorgeous animals. Me and my husband felt very safe and relaxed with our original 2 nights here. we enjoyed it so much we decided to stay an extra night.
Norma was a fantastic host, when we arrived we did not have a cable long enough to reach our rv and she had one on hand for us to borrow and water on site. The only slight downside was the travel to the property, having to come on a very pitted dirt road with some very big grooves. However Norma drove out in the dark to come find us and the make sure our sat nav took us to the correct house. She did explain how it normally isn’t that bad however they had previously had a lot of rain and snow which caused the big bumps. This would not be a problem for a smaller rig, ours in 30ft and there was plenty of space on the road and at Norma’s property. This would not stop us from returning in the future! So don’t let it put you off, I just feel it’s worth knowing.
Norma went above and beyond, knowing that I loved horses she let me ride one of her beloved pets inside her beautiful sanded paddock, infact even gave me a little lesson (I was very sore for days after lol) but throughly enjoyed the experience. She offers experiences at her lodge too and gave us the supplies needed for a fire.
Thank you again Norma!
