Great sites with a little creek running alongside. No one was loud, and the area was well-maintained. It was a nice quiet area, and met several friendly people. Suuuuper close to Lassen and other outdoor activities.

My only suggestion would be for better late arrival instructions. We arrived around 9:40p and spent close to an hour trying to figure out how to access the sites, which were behind a closed and "locked" gate. There was a phone number to call, but no cellphone signal. Some additional instructions for late check-in issue (like going to Cabin 3, or the General Store) on the site sign, or in my reservation confirmation, would have made this much better.

Glad to hear you enjoyed our RV park & your stay. We'd like to have future guests know that we live on site in the main building. So upon late arrival you can always locate us in the main building. Additionally, we've always had a map on the main building front door to help locate the driveway to the RV park. The RV park also has a wooden sign & a gate that is closed but NOT locked. We appreciate guests shutting the gate behind them so non RV guests will not enter the RV driveway. Thanks!

A bit rustic, a bit casual, but overall a good time in a beautiful setting with over the top staff!

This campground was just what we'd hoped for: close to Lassen, not too crowded, hook-ups, and it didn't feel like we were in a concrete RV park! A short hike down to Mill Creek and we had what my kids refer to as their favorite day of an amazing 2-week trip around California and Oregon. I can't wait to come back when COVID has released its grip. We only had one day when the restaurant was open and I have more research to do!!! The Lassen Burger was amazing though!

We loved our stay, in RV spot #3. Each site is surrounded by huge trees, creating a quiet oasis. We saw our hosts a couple of times and waved at each other. This was our first Hipcamp stay and it set the barre pretty high.

Nice clean easy to find spot very close to Lasssn. It’s in a beautiful area. We stayed here for 1 night, the night before we drove thru Lassen National Park en route to Burney Falls State park.

This is what we did:

Pack up and leave at 7:30am, it’ll get u to Lassen Park entrance by 8am, before it’s crowded. You can be to the Lassen Peak parking lot by 8:15am. Hike the 2.4mile trail to the top of Lassen. You’ll be back by lunch time, drive to any of the nearby lakes and have a picnic lunch/take a post hike swim. Can’t beat it. We continued thru the park, our the opposite entrance, and on to Burney Falls. Great day.

We’d stay here again for sure.
