I got a 30 foot airstream there . There is quite a bit of unnerving downhill to get to the spot. Once there, it is remote and private and it is on a trail going right into anza Borrego and the hike is awesome. Mike provided fire barrel and some water and was easily reachable if there was cell service there, not Verizon. The site is not exactly level but it is on soft sand and one can pile it up easily to level. Getting out, used a land cruiser 200 and it slowly chugged up the hill . About 45 minutes from Borrego springs -elevation probably 3000ish

We had a great stay at the Park & Chill! We took some really gorgeous walks and saw some amazing sunsets and stars. We ended up meeting our neighbors at Mike's Secluded Mountain Top which has much nicer views, but we were happy to be shaded from the wind at the Park & Chill. Overall a really great experience! Thanks Mike :)

We had a pleasant stay at park and chill. Here’s a few things you need to know. This is a roadside campsite, people will be driving by your site occasionally. The road is quiet and there was probably only 5 or so vehicles that pass by a day. Still I was under the impression that the site was down a pull out road not 20ft from the road itself. The other campsite, “mikes mountain top” is visible on the neighboring hill. You can hear the campers there if they are talking/having fun etc. but it’s not invasive. We had a dog w us and one thing we noticed is on night 2 coyotes were definitely around. One actually yipped in a large circle around our location late that night. Coyotes are extremely common in so-cal so I wasn’t too shaken by it, but our dog def knew they were there. The place is beautiful at sunset and the neighboring views from the hill tops are great. This place also has a steady wind at it, we set our 6 person tent up behind my SUV blocking the direction of the wind and we were fine. Probably best for an RV or trailer but we still had a blast. Also if your tent camping bring an easy-up for shade

Mike was a very welcoming, helpful host! The site itself is tucked away off the side of a road, connected to a trailhead leading into the park. Wonderful space, well-maintained. Thanks for having us, Mike!

The site was not hard to find with the directions, but I think it's more like 3 miles down the road than the 1.5 miles the host directed us to so keep going down the road if you think you are lost. It's a private sight, although close to a dirt road that very few cars go on. There was a fire pit, which was necessary as it got very windy. Check the weather before you camp here because it can get very windy and cold (we had to sleep in the car). Beautiful views of the rocky hills and very secluded. We started on the hike, but after a certain point the trail was not well kept. Recommend for those needing some peace and quiet.

It was nicely kept, easy to get to in our AWD sedan. Michael was very helpful and communicative. We appreciate the escort out to our secluded spot. There was very minimal traffic past our Hipcamp (at the end of the paved area are some houses). It was cool renting the mtn bikes for the stay. Nice to be camped right off of a trail head. There’s plenty of flat space for a car camp out, tent, sun shade, and grill. Got some awesome

Great space, right off of a service road. There was a car or two (Other campers possibly?) that passed by but nothing outrageous. Just behind the site is a trailhead which is nice.
