Bucket Pond is nestled in a large blackberry bog and provides a secluded, private, and shady campsite for Hipcampers. This site is on flat, grassy ground and features a 10’ diameter wooden spool. Guests love this campsite because of its proximity to the heartbeat of the property, while still having a shaded and quiet space to call your own.

To get to Bucket Pond Camp drive up to the Portals Stage parklet to unload gear. After unloading please move vehicles to main parking lot.  Use handcarts to bring your things to the site (please don’t forget to return handcarts!).

There is no fire pit at this camp, but it is a great place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.  Trails lead around the pond and up to the Reservoir, and the site is very close to the Lanai (our outdoor shared kitchen)- where guests can grill and hang out with friends. It is a one minute walk from portapotties and a hot outdoor shower.

Currently reservation requests for this campsite are set for 3 campers. When booking the site for more than 3 guests please edit your request to reflect accurate headcount information. If you would like to organize a larger campout for groups 10+ in number please email contact @ mendocinomagic.com

***A NOTE ABOUT FIRES: Some campsites at Mendocino Magic have a firepit, but occasionally during the summer months the state bans fires for campers. We will keep you posted about the status of fires on the property when you book your reservation. Since we would hate to take campfires out of the camping experience, we have started the #onefire campaign to keep campers happy with a fire at our communal cooking area at the lanai, where on Friday and Saturday nights there will be a fire for all to enjoy. During a fire ban, please do not start a fire up at any camp's fire ring - guests who do so will be asked to leave without a refund.
