About Vintage Airstream
A luxury camping experience in the coastal woods of Mendocino. Enjoy all the romance of camping without the hassle of tent wrangling and gear. We are redefining the camping experience with vintage airstream trailers, comfy beds, crisp white linens and down comforters and hot showers stocked with towels and EO Marin bath products.
Each Airstream includes a beautiful bed, convenient ½ bath, and an interior living space. Airstreams come complete with electricity, running water, heat, and an outdoor living area.
Cooking can be done on site at our community BBQ facility. Provisions can be purchased easily in town at the fabulous Mendosa's Market — a 2 minute car ride.
This secluded historic property is located on 37 acres of woodland 1/4 mile south of the charming town of Mendocino and a spectacular beach at the mouth of Big River.
The Airstreams are double occupancy, but they can accommodate additional children for $10 per night.

My stay at Mendocino Grove was absolutely amazing! The whole property is so beautiful and feels like a luxury summer camp for adults and families. The amenities are lovely and the sites are spacious and private. Pack some hikers and enjoy a nature walk around the property. :)
I stayed in one of the vintage airstreams with a little ocean view. I was blown away at how nice the airstream was! The décor is on par, the grill was perfect for cooking dinner, and the privacy of the site was great! Oh, and the bed was super comfy. 10/10 I highly recommend and will return!
Our three nights in the W5 Vintage Airstream were fantastic. The refurbished trailer was just the ticket to take us back to another time. The mid October chill was no problem with the included electric heater. The W5 camp location is very private and has a partial view of the ocean through a few of the nearby tents across the way. We thought the BBQ included a side burner but it was only a two burner standard BBQ. We adjusted our cooking strategy to account for the smaller BBQ. The furniture included was spot on 1960's period. For the price I would say it was a little steep but it was a once in a lifetime experience worth the money.
