We are an active ranch with many animals to visit. Most of our animals are rescues. We are near miles of trails in the forest for hiking, biking, horseback riding and off road vehicles. We can offer a trail ride for an additional cost. We can also accommodate campers with horses for an additional charge. We have a community fire pit and we just added new camp sites under trees. The fire pit is shared, we do not have fire pits by each site due to fire danger. The toilets we provide are shared by campers so if you prefer to have your own, we recommend you bring a camping potty. We are a private ranch, not like a public campground. We recommend you bring boots and flashlights. Camping is at your own risk. We are in the mountains where wildlife is present. We also take ponies and other animals to parties and other events. Message us for details and pricing. Unicorn photo sessions are also available.

Great time of healing!!!!
Was a great time the kids loved it and it was just as they had advertised.......great fram ranch experience getaway.......Can't wait to go back.....love you Melinda and Cherish....the boys miss you guys and the animals so much already...
Great first time experience
It was my family’s first time camping and we had a great experience. Melinda was very nice and generous. The farm animals were all nice to see and pet. She even allowed the children to fed them. Melinda went as far as allowing the children to have pony rides and the adults to horseback. She was very outgoing and went out of her way to make sure guest were happy. Her property has a lot of potential.
Pony and horse rides!
Melinda the owner was an amazing host. She took our 5 year old daughter on pony rides. She even turned her white pony into a unicorn (see pics)! We also had a chance to feed a baby goat. This a great place to stay for families who love animals (she rescues her horses).
The site was with great views, especially on a full moon weekend . Camp sites are basic (open space on a farm land, most of it not shaded) with fire pit only at the front of the property so we had to coordinate with other groups who uses the pit at what time . Unfortunately the weekend we camped, there were lot of people in relatively close spaces.
What was intended to be a quiet getaway and much needed break from city noises and energy, became a terrible experience for us, thanks to an obnoxiously loud group that camped next to us who partied with loud music inconsiderate of that this was a shared space. There is no space between sites and if there are loud indecent groups like that your camping experience is going to be ruined. Glad to hear that most other campers had a great time here. Ours was not.
Super but worries abt covid safety
Everything was really great. The property is beautiful, and Melinda was very accommodating (we had booked for the weekend before, and my car broke down, so she let us stay the next weekend). We got a spot underneath a tree and it was shady and cool. The horses were beautiful, and they have all kinds of other animals from donkeys to ducks to lambs and sheep to goats. We watched the sunset and moonrise over the mountains, as the stars came out.
The one issue we had was that the site said that it was COVID safe and we were a bit stressed out to find that Melinda's policy was "Don't worry, I'm not going to make you wear a mask." She and her partner both came up closer than 6 feet from us without masks, and as she's hosting people from all over, and coming into contact with them, it didn't feel safe for us. We would come back if it was more COVID safe.
We camp at her land for 2 nights this 4th of July weekend. Melinda as a host was very friendly. My wife and son enjoyed feeding and petting the horses. My wife even rode the horse for a while. She has a lot land and very beautiful to camp with a view of the mountain. Eventhough you are not allowed to have your own fire pitt, we shared a fire pitt and enjoyed conversations with the other campers on site which is not many. We recommend this place for camping.
