The Cozy Cabin:
The Cabin is perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway or for family nature holidays. Surrounded by the peaceful meadow it feels like you’re in the middle of nature - while the next town and the ocean is just a couple of minutes away. Our farm is a place of tranquility and harmony where you can let go of your daily hassles and embrace the slow pace of nature.

The Cabin holds a double bed that can be transformed into two singles if you wish. You have drawers, a closet and a table for your convenience. The Cabin is decorated with artwork using natural materials. For colder nights we provide a fire starter kit for the little wood stove in the cabin. On the porch of the cabin you have the opportunity to journal, write, draw or enjoy your breakfast at a small desk with forest views. You can often spot a deer or a rabbit from there. As our guest you will have access to the cozy cabin and plenty of space to pitch an additional tent for children or friends if you wish so. We provide running water. a flush toilet and a hot shower in the Community House Bathroom. You can also charge your electric devices in the Cabin or the Community House. We kindly ask you to bring your own camping stove if you wish to prepare meals yourself and pack out your trash. The town of Ft Bragg is just a couple of miles away and provides many opportunities for eating out. Meadow Farm:
The cabin sits inside a 7 Acre Meadow surrounded by tall trees. The property is quiet, at night you can hear the ocean roar. We are honored to have a great variety of wildlife around the farm. You can spot wild turkeys, deer, eagles, rabbits, foxes and many more - often right from the cabin windows. Explore the Area: Meadow Farm feels secluded, yet we are only a couple miles from Ft Bragg and the grand pacific. Glass beach with its majestic cliffs and coastal walks is just around 3 miles or 10 minutes by car away. You can watch the amazing California sunset there every night if you want to! You’ll find many more opportunities for day trips along the coast. About Us:
Meadow Farm is a 28-acre property that was established as a Community Land Trust in 2013. Our intentional community is a place of peace, beauty, and creative life-enhancing opportunities. Currently, eight residents live on the farm. Among those are three kids. We host volunteers from all over the world as we work towards sustainable living and a compassionate community. We are a functioning small farm providing food for ourselves and the wider community. We grow organic fruits and vegetables, receive fresh water from a well on the property and make use of solar power for our daily electricity needs.
We will be happy to welcome you to the farm. Please do not hesitate to message us if you have further questions.

Loved everything about my stay. The cabin is was easy to find, very clean and looked really nice. There were enough bed covers so I didn't even have to use the fire pit.
The hosts were so nice, very attentive and just overall awesome people. I really liked the farm and the common area, which had a clean bathroom and a rustic cool dining and living area.
The surrounding area is also very cool, including glass beach, Fort Bragg (cute little town) and Mendocino which was close by. I would totally recommend staying here!

This is a great place to stay if you want a taste of living off the grid in a serene environment while staying close to amenities in the small coastal towns along the Mendocino coast. The organic farm, the delightful stewards of the land who were the hosts, the proximity to the beach and great hiking made staying at the cozy cottage not just a place to stay but a wonderful experience.

Meadow farm was exactly what we were looking for. So peaceful, and you could be as off the grid as you would like. Still cell service if you want to be connected, or disconnect and truly enjoy the farm as it should be. The cabin was neat and cozy, and our family of four slept easily with my wife and I in the beds and our kids on the floor. Ryan and his family are great people! They gave us a tour of the farm, we walked the trail in the woods, and just enjoyed each other. We hope to be back again soon!

We had a great time staying at Meadow Farm over the Labor Day weekend. The accommodations were just as described and everyone at farm was super friendly and helpful. Cabin is small, but plenty of space for two and the bed was quite comfortable. So quiet you can hear the ocean at night. Ryan provided clear directions before our arrival and was there to meet us even though we arrived later in the evening. Will visit again.

Absolutely loved my stay at the cabin at Meadow Farms. It is a small quant little cabin and it is super cozy. There is a wood burning fire stove and there was wood available there for you to use as well. There is a community house near the farm as well that I was able to use for kitchen purposes, as well as get some green beans from the farm to cook for dinner. Everyone was super friendly and fun to be around. One day we walked through the forest and looked for some mushrooms along the path and there is a secret swing you can find back in the woods. I think the swing was one of my favorite parts. The air is fresh and farm is beautiful, the food here tastes better than at any farm I’ve ever been to. The strawberries were the sweetest and Jesse has Rattlesnake Beans growing in the garden that are to die for!

By appointment you can schedule a tune up with the bike man on site - I got my bike tuned up and couldn’t be happier. Jesse owned a bike shop for many years and knows his stuff - he also built a majority of the bike trails in the area and gives tours as well. He took me to the ‘ride-thru’ tree trail, where you get to ride your bike down some sick trails and through an actual red wood tree!! Super fun and I defiantly recommend adding that into your plans. (After booking, just send them a message letting them know you are interested in having your bike tuned up and going on some trails)

They are just a few minutes from downtown Fort Bragg, beaches and walking trails. I love how close it was to the fun things in town, yet being there on the property, you feel as if you are far away from the world and it’s super peaceful. In town, I ventured down the trail that went over the trestle and near the beach and to see Glass Beach. I even took my kayak down the 1 to the Big River one day to kayak and that was a blast. Check in with your hosts and they can recommend even more cool spots in town.

Our trip was great! The cabin is close to the community kitchen and bathroom. Ryan and his family were super accommodating and friendly. We were busy exploring the area but they kindly offered to show us the property and their garden! It's very quiet, serene, and private. It's close to Fort Bragg, so it was easy to pop in and out
