Our first time trying out hipcamp. I feel spoiled that it was at Marty’s place. They have a nice level spot by their house. You have a nice grassy lawn right next to the spot. There is a little pond with flowing water.
Marty provided a hose and electricity, a picnic table and a few chairs. A quick walk up a dirt road gets you to a beautiful view of the lake. Marty was very sweet and helpful.

We had a great stay at Marty’s RV site. It’s secluded but open, lovely landscaping, easy access for water and electrical hookup. The one caution I’d have is to make sure you navigate with Google- NOT Apple Maps!

Marty's place was perfect. We spent two lovely nights on her land and were able to walk down to the lake on a beautiful wooded path. My dog enjoyed the nice patch of grass to lay on and the sound of babbling water in the pond was very relaxing.

Highly recommend! Marty was a wonderful and welcoming host and we loved our tent camping stay on her land. The space is set up really thoughtfully with a picnic table, garden hose, peaceful pond, and easy access to the garage and half bath. The space is quiet and feels very private even though it’s just off the driveway. Easy, scenic to walk from the site down to the lake, and close to a ton of great hiking trails. Would definitely come back next time we visit Tahoe.

Marty promptly answered a couple of questions we had before we embarked on our trip. She and her husband greeted us and assisted with backing our trailer in. They were perfect hosts. The location was beyond expectations. The site was well-groomed and level with a nice picnic table. Our trailer faced the beautifully manicured lawn and the picture-perfect pond. The soothing sound of the waterfall was icing on the cake. We found the location convenient. We enjoyed a quiet, private stay. We will return to this gem.

It was a lovely spot but at this time of the year there were lots of aggressive yellowjackets. We couldn't sit outside in the evening because of those pests. Otherwise, the property and Marty were terrific. The location is also great; quiet and beautiful. Thanks!

Our hosts, Marty and Julian were most welcoming. Julian mentioned they had lawn bocce and a croquet set we could use if we wanted. He recommended some places in town for eats and drinks. Marty was very courteous and considerate while having her dogs around our dog, not wanting to instigate any issues. The campsite is on their property, adjacent to their house, but still fairly private. it is very pretty with the lawn and soothing sound of the waterfall splashing into the pond. They are at the end of their road, which is great for access to hiking. (Electricity and water are available.) Two cautions: one is that the turnaround to back into the site is small...with our 26' trailer, we ended up having to back down the long driveway to the road, and then back up it to get into the spot. Maybe not a big deal if you're short, but for us, it was a challenge this time. Will know better how to navigate for next time. The other was the adjacent property doing a lot of construction, which was pretty noisy with backhoes, etc. during the day. Don't know if this will be going on much longer, so may not be an issue down the road, but something to be apprised of for the near future. We could tell our hosts were not happy about it. Would I recommend this spot? Yes, especially if you'd rather not be around other campers.

Glad you enjoyed the spot. And yes there is an end in site with the neighbors landscaping. It is normally so peaceful up here at the end of the road by the forest. Hope you will come again.
