Camp under the stars in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. This 50 acre family-owned property is located in the heart of Apple Hill. There are two streams that run through it, with a hill that separates them. It is a working Christmas Trees farm that was started in the 1960's and now has many trees that are too big to fit in anyone's home, but provide an unbelievable canopy for some of our camp sites. About 1/3 of it is covered in a pine forest (with secluded camp sites) with the balance being Christmas trees, manzanita brush, Madrone trees, and open areas (for larger group campers). There are trails throughout the property for visitors to enjoy. There is an Apple Farm across the street that makes the best donuts in Apple Hill! Less than a mile away is a farm brewery and there are wineries throughout the area. There is also a large lake nearby that is a favorite for local kayak and canoe enthusiasts (and some who enjoy fishing) since most non-locals don't know it exists.
This RV site is located in the large clearing at the top of the hill. It is near the individual sites, and relatively close to the restrooms and potable water station. However, NO AMENITIES are provided. (Bring your own tables, chairs and fire pits.) Portable restrooms are onsite for your use as is a spigot with potable water.
NOTE: All campfires must be in an enclosed fire pit. (OPEN campfires are strictly prohibited during the summer/fall months.) Fire pits may be rented for $10/night or please bring your own.
Be sure to bring flashlights and lanterns, it does get dark at night!

Great sites!! Gordon (owner) was extremely helpful and made sure we had what we needed. All sites are well protected from the wind. ATT and Verizon have good to very good cell reception (LTE).
I stayed in the dispersed camping area with a group of class B motorhomes. The location was beautiful and close to all of the Apple Hill sights. Gordan, the owner, checked in on us and seemed genuinely concerned that we had everything we needed. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to camp in the area. The only drawback was that it took a tall stack of leveling blocks!
Very pretty location. Great stars at night. Down-home Doughnut shop was walkable, yet you feel very tucked away.
We were at a large group camping area. There was a slope, but propped up our campers on one side as per normal.
Gordon responded quickly to confirm our booking request and gave us plenty of details about the area for us to plan a great trip. He greeted us upon arrival and showed us our spot in the open field. The large trees gave us ample shade from the hot sun in the afternoon. There are apple orchards all around and the trails on the grounds are nicely kept. The reservoir nearby is great for kayaking and and paddle boarding. We would definitely come back to explore more.
Gordon was great. I camped in the open area at the top of the hill. A little difficult to get the trailer level but no big deal. The scariest part was getting up the hill to the camping area. It's pretty narrow and pretty steep but I made it with no problems. I would recommend the site.
