Had a great time at this Hipcamp, it's hard to beat being within a short walk to a cool river on a hot day that you only share with a few others. I was lucky enough to celebrate my friends' upcoming marriage here, the campsite itself was a great spot to chill out and catch up with old friends. Roy the Host has done a great job developing the campsites and providing space for level ground as this is a decent slope down to the river. This site with the deck, table, and chairs was pretty ready made, we brought a couple extra chairs and were set. It was neat to see the other tent camping sites a bit further down the hill, they also looked wonderful! We brought a small shade structure that was useful down at the river as there is less shade in that area. It was easy to walk down from the parking area since we didn't all have 4x4 cars. Very clean portable toilet. Hoping to return soon - thank you Roy!

Great way to cool off instantly!Lower Yuba Canyon TentThe river is about a 3 minute walk down a hill from the campsite

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We actually stayed in a little area above the parking lot vs. the tent site that was advertised. It was a great weekend for the both of us.
