The Lovelight Ranch is our 5-acre hippie paradise, centrally located in the Coachella Valley. We are near the amazing 1000 Palms Oasis and Coachella Valley Preserve for great day hikes and wildlife viewing, and also near the splendors of Joshua Tree and the high desert. We are happy to offer fun & relaxing activity Experiences such as the Tepee Sound Bath experience, DrumCircle and Didgeridoo experiences, Artistic Endeavor experiences. Sharing makes us Happy and we hope you will choose an Experience or two to enhance your visit and interests. We are within a half hours drive of Palm Springs, recently voted the hippest mid-sized city in the country and Coachella, home of the Coachella and StageCoach Festivals and not so far from the ever amazing Joshua Tree Festival . We are also very near Sam's Hot Water Spa, a chemical free hot springs soaking experience which is the perfect ending to a day of hiking, climbing or just sight-seeing. We have a Pool & Deck , A Horseshoe Pit, Nice Shady Hangouts and plenty to look at in every direction. We offer accommodations ranging from Elevated SkyDecks to SubTerrainian Glamping spots RV spaces as well as Basic Tensite camping . - Please check out our offerings for your Desert camping visits. We van-camped at Lovelight. Great spot, plenty of amenities, and gracious hosts. Even used the pizza oven on our second night, which was great.

Great place to camp with a dog!

I loved our time at Lovelight! It’s full of funky sculptures, furniture and little nooks to hang out in. Our pup was able to roam about freely with their three dogs. Mikey was welcoming and helpful, as were all the folks there! Bit of neighbor sheep, peacock and dog sounds but overall not too noisy. It was super windy there, but they’ve built spaces to get out of it, like a community kitchen and a palm covered 1/2 underground bunker with beds, chairs and a table!

Site 1 - LovelightTentsite & Car Camping

Wonderfully welcoming crew and fun, eclectic atmosphere away from the buzz of the city. Blessed with a superbloom right in camp as well! Lots of flexibility on where to camp and ample outdoor common areas with plenty of shade under lovely palm trees. It's out of Mikey's control but the only downside were the neighbors barking dogs and roosters crowing in the middle of the night.

Great experience staying on the Lovelight Ranch. Wonderful group of people. The camp has an eclectic blend of camp sites and sleeping options. Mikey is an awesome host that will show you around and explain the ins and outs of his oasis in the desert. The sound bath with Chad was a wonderfully relaxing experience to help set the mood in camp. If you're looking for something different in a camping experience in the desert, this is the place for you.
