Description

Looking for some hot springs and epic camping close to Santa Barbara? Head to Mono Campground, where you can hike a short trail into the Little Caliente Hot Springs to soak your travel’n bones. The cute walk-in campsites are nestled into river banks, amidst a sea of mountain ranges. You can pitch your tent in a large meadow under the shade of oak trees. The hot spring pours into a cement tub, provides some nice views, and is, well, hot! Nothing like a natural Jacuzzi in the wilderness!

Spoke to a ranger up there and they said this site is closed for good, unfortunately. Not only is the area inaccessible by road, but once the roads do re-open, they said the entire site is pretty much gone due to mudslides.
