Everything about this location was perfect! An amazing host that put a lot of thought into the space he build. Highly recommend!
The caravan is lovely! My boyfriend and I had a really great stay and wish we had booked another night. They have made it really cosy and romantic, perfect for sheltering from a storm (which we had to do). We cooked a meal on their well-equipped kitchen, which was a delight after a month on the road and too many microwave meals. We also spent a good few hours at Pappy and Harriets, the legendary music venue which is just a short drive away. I highly recommend going there. The next morning was glorious and the sun came out. We spent the entire morning outside the caravan eating and reading in the sunshine and enjoying the relaxing setting. The only hiccup was that the Google Maps link provided in the booking confirmation is wrong! It took us really really far down a dirt track with massive potholes which was very hard to navigate in a saloon car... so don't follow that! The actual address provided is right, so use that instead. Once we got cell reception again, however, Laurie was very helpful. She also kindly let us stay a bit longer the next morning so we could relax and enjoy the space. And they were very helpful with any queries we had during our stay.
We highly recommend staying here! It's a really special place.
Laurie and Norm live on an enchanting desert property near Pioneer Town, CA.
They’re friendly, but also give you enough space to do your thing.
Their vintage trailer is clean and vibey. It comes with electricity, running water, a gas stove, and refrigerator. They even provide wifi!
The bathroom behind the trailer is great for a portable system. Overall, it’s a great 1-2 day stay for any person or couple. This can serve as a great home base while exploring the desert.

Great place! the best way to describe this place would be cozy! It is the perfect spot for a diet get away with a significant other to grow closer or just enjoy the simple things in life. The sky was beautiful, away from all the light and sound pollution this place is great! The host is great as well, Check in and out was as simple as show up and leave. Very easy, private and no hassle at all! One recommendation I will make to any guest is to dust off pillow and blankets before laying down, There was a nasty spider crawling around the wall when we were getting ready for bed, this is no fault of anyone, as nature included creepy crawlies, but still stay safe!
Had a lovely stay. Private little camper that had everything we needed. Close to Pioneertown.
Laurie the host was very responsive and friendly! She came to check on us and made sure we were all set which was nice. The only thing I would have loved is having an Air conditioner which would have made the trip more pleasant. I knew going in no AC but that would be one of the advice to add in but overall smaller then expected space but charming place for 2 people!

Nice and homie! It really feels like you’re being one with nature. This is not the place for people who want those 5 star hotel treatment
We enjoyed our stay and it was a very quite and peaceful place. We needed a break from the city last minute and it was just what we needed. Laurie was very nice and accommodating. Not a far drive to Joshua Tree National park. Rim rock is a very remote pretty desert community. The trailer was cozy and clean. Just know you can’t be over 6’1 and fit in the bed. Loved her quaint touches and rock landscaping.
