Located in the local coastal plain of San Luis Obispo, CA. The farm is mountainous and is divided in half with the higher mountainous part for running cattle and the lower portion used for farming 200 different crops organically. They are ancient grains, beans and peas, herbs and spices. You can pick up your pumpkins and Christmas trees less than a mile to the east at Brookshire Farms. We are located within about 7 miles from Montana De Oro State Campground with 100s of miles of hiking trails of various difficulty which is right on the Pacific Ocean and we are 8 miles to Morro Bay Beach. There are views from our higher elevation areas of the farm to view Morro Bay and Morro Rock with the water crashing on the breakwater visible to the naked eye. We can also see all the way to Villa Creek Road on a clear day which is 7+ miles North of Cayucos and South of San Simeon home of Hearst Castle . Villa Creek Road is the sight of the only viable Abalone Farm in California. We are about 5 miles to the back bay of Los Osos which is called Baywood Park on the bay with restaurants from Pizza Parlors to high end dining. There is also wine tasting right across the street from Ralph’s grocery store at Baker & Brain Winery on the weekends.

We offer 3 camping sites two which are dedicated and marked and one that is your choice on the high ground shared with friendly cattle. We do have a portable toilet with hand-washing sink near the campsites. Please bring your own toiletry supplies.  We ask that you clean up after yourself in the bathroom and be respectful of other campers.

Site #3 was wonderful. Up on a hill top with plenty of flat space to park/camp. Beautiful live oak tree on the top made the spot and the views were beautiful. Would definitely go again.

Larry’s property was beautiful, and exactly the getaway we were looking for. We stayed at campsite #3, and would highly recommend site 3 for the privacy and views. Site 3 sits on top of a big hill (the other two sites are below) and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains, all the way down to the water by Morro Rock. The views of the sky and stars at night were incredible. Would highly recommend!

Site 3 is on the hilltop and it's absolutely fabulous. Complete privacy, wonderful trees, a fire pit with chairs and a lovely swing. Oh, and that view on the ocean in the distance... We witnessed a spectacular sunset.

Larry was a great host! Very quick to answer messages, very accommodating and great space! All alone up on site 3 with amazing views. He has a really beautiful spot. Don’t forget to pack layers because it was definitely windy being close to the ocean until the sun fell! Great great experience!!

Roomy, secluded hilltop area with glorious view of the ocean and Morro Rock. Road up the hill was fine in a Subaru Outback (dry conditions). Beware of some (easily avoided) poison oak in the surrounding vegetation, away from the site itself. Some distant road noise, but otherwise peaceful and private. Great spot, thanks.
