This was our first HipCamp experience and we were very pleased with our host and location. Lacey was very accommodating with our "no contact" arrival request during COVID times. The site was very clean and she sanitized the picnic table prior to our arrival. The location is far enough into the hills to feel private, but close enough to the coast to enjoy the beach. It's a lovely hill-top camping location and was quite a large space for our 16' trailer. The only drawback was the powerlines that go along the side of the campsite, but for a hilltop view above Malibu, we can't complain! We are hoping to return next spring when the hills turn green!

We had such a great stay! It’s a very private camp site on top of a mountain with sweeping views of the hills and ocean. Would highly recommend!
We loved this site! We surfed at Zuma Beach during the day and then went up to the site (about 25 min). Super easy and beautiful drive. Our only regret is that we didn’t head up there sooner in the day. The views are gorgeous. The site is flat and easy to set up. The sunset was amazing! Can’t wait to go back for 2 nights next time.

It was such a wonderful view. Really easy to get to. The stars were amazing. We will be back and add the horse back riding.

Very bare bones amenities, quite expensive for what is provided. There is quite literally no place to go to the bathroom. A nearby dog was kept outside and barked through almost the entire night. Beautiful camp site and easy to get to, but has some issues.
As others have stated, it's up there in the mountains and has a nice view of the coast. Unfortunately, the day I stayed it was super windy! My tent ended up blowing over and we camped inside the car, but that's no fault of the site. Otherwise a cool place to stay!
Safe and private but homes still close enough so it’s not a feeling of being too remote. Outstanding views and good bird watching. Went horseback riding and Brian, our Trail Guide and Lacey’s partner, was “super chill”, the horses were fantastic, and the trails amazing. Don’t miss the opportunity to go Horseback riding if you spend time at this Hipcamp.
