L.A.R.K.ville” is 43 acres of tangled blue oaks and red bark manzanitas. Ninety minutes from San Francisco and 10 minutes from the shores of Lake Berryessa, we are Napa off-the-grid. No glitz. No crowds. But Napa town is a mere 20 minutes from our driveway! Our dirt and gravel road travels in a “chutes and ladders” configuration from the 600 sq. ft. party deck and open camping

BYOB, no cover, and no closing time. This is arguably the coolest underground bar in Northern California. Not found on any map— but yours to party in.. Beautiful spot with great hosts
I wish I could give 100 thumbs ups for this hipcamp site. Ron and Lynka are true treasures, and the L.A.R.K. ville spot was even more amazing than I could have imagined. I messaged them a few weeks out from the booking date, asking if throwing a 30th birthday dance / camping party would be possible. Lynka immediately responded -- I was able to hop on the phone to chat with her and Ron about logistics to make it happen. They were exceptional hosts who really went above and beyond. The pre-camping communication was stellar. Very clear directions to the location, and they rented an extra portapotty for our group. The spot was so beautiful. The infrastructure was really special -- the deck, the dome, and the tiki bar. Ron was really helpful in helping us haul stuff up to the top of the hill where we brought our own speakers and generator for an epic dance party. I'm just so impressed by what they've built and their ethos for their place. They were on site the whole time to help us out with things and check in. I can't have asked for a better experience.
