We wanted a quick night out and found this campsite and booked the day before our visit. We had a great time. The kids played cornhole and frisbee, the adults got to try out some local wines and buy a few bottles. At night, we had the site largely to ourselves.
We were a little surprised to learn there was a minimum purchase of 2 bottles expected as Hipcamp guests. Not a problem for us as we planned to buy several bottles anyway but it was not clearly stated in the Hipcamp description or preparation materials.
Property was great and the hosts were fun and welcoming. Great place to spend a night on the way to Yosemite
we really enjoyed our stay at Leisure Street Winery. our hosts Kelly and Rick are very personable and accommodating. we had a wine tasting upon arrival which was a really nice way to take the edge off after a six hour drive. there were a lot more campers than we expected, but most stayed to themselves. the 5-acre property is more geared to RV'ers, but the potential for more organized tent spots is there, and i can see that happening in the future if the hosts wanted it. we experienced a great sunset/moonrise with a vineyard to the west. there's a nice outdoor seating area which seems to be used mainly for wine events, and the restrooms are newer and simple. overall it was a great stop over on our way up to northern california.
Perfect place to stay on our way to Oregon. Kelly and her daughter Mia were friendly and helpful. The wine was excellent!! We would definitely come back.
I could not stay at the site because the road was blocked because of a fire in the area. I hope Hipcamp returns my money. The lady was very nice and and although I could not get close to her vineyard, the area was very beautiful. It was my first time using Hipcamp so I hope they are a stand up business and return my money. Hope to use Hipcamp again if they are good people.
The site is the gravel parking lot at a winery - we stayed 2 nights - the first night there where about 6 other groups the other night it was us and another RV. There is a very nice outdoor sitting area and a very clean bathroom. Kelly was very nice and check-in with us over text to see if we needed anything. We felt safe leaving our trailer and venturing into town. Had a great weekend!
