Juniper Spur Ranch

This property is located just off the Volcanic Legacy Hwy 97 about 7 miles north of Weed, CA. Mount Shasta in full view all year round. There is a large snow mobile park about 15 miles further up Hwy 97 that offers groomed trails in the winter and horseback riding paradise in the spring summer and fall. You must bring your own horse.  I have limited unsheltered open chapparal electric fenced paddocks for boarding horses as well. You will have the shade of two large ponderosa trees in the morning and afternoon and a picnic table and firepit at Campsite #1.  Campsite #2 has a picnic table and firepit with open high desert chapparal and unobstructed views of Mt Shasta and surrounding ridges, "whaleback", "haystacks", 'sheep's rock".  NO FIRES are allowed except during fall winter spring in designated firepits and only on permitted fire days without predicted wind. There is plenty of burn material consisting of manzanita roots and piles of pruning around the property.   I have water available most of the time from a large 2500 gal water tank and hose. There is a portapotty service on the property by the haybarn. Please pack all trash out. The city of Mount Shasta is approximately 20 miles south. The city of Weed is approximately 7 miles south.
