Great campsite and terrific host!
Cody was a great host! You could tell he takes a lot of pride in the upkeep of his campsites. The site was terrific with running water (hose), picnic table, bbq grill and fire pit. Everything was awesome.! The only downside was the steep price ($15) for a bundle of fire wood - we used 3 bundles ($45) for our nights stay. The cows roaming around were really cool too!
An amazing trip! Cody gave us the opportunity of shifting from site 5 to site 1 and we are so grateful. The site is on top of a hill with views across the valley with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The site has a great tree that provided shade and there was able water for drinking and cooling off. We will certainly return!
Beauty and simplicity
I LOVED IT.
It’s had all of the things that make the Central Valley lovable. Awesome wildlife. Beautiful arid hills. I’m definitely coming here again:)
-The host was the most.
-I love the ‘effects’ around camp. Re-purposed dark equip. Random BMX bikes.
-DOPE OUTDOOR SHOWER that faces the open range.
-Bring shade and adjust it for Sunrise/Sunset. Or, just get out of camp from 12-late afternoon when the sun is at its highest.
-Plan on going to Lake San Antonio (15 min) for some blow-up rafting, floating, and chillin. Bring a grill and shade. This is not Spring Break and there are really cool families spending time there. Act accordingly.
-The Apple Map will put you about a 3/4 of a mile further down the road on the wrong side. Be advised.
