I would recommend staying here for both the wonderful open sky experience and the privacy. I wasn’t bothered by anyone, and this was a great stopping point before driving to Owens Valley. Just over an hour from the Alabama Hills and great views of Mt Whitney! The dirt roads on this property were easy to navigate, and the grounds weren’t hard to set up a tent onto. The sunrises and sunsets here are great as well!

The light hit the mountains behind the grounds beautifully.Enjoying the first rays of sunshine.LOTS of dog-approved sticks on the property!Just a few minutes away is a lovely old mining town. Definitely worth checking out, especially the old City Jail!
