We are located in the township of Ballard. The property is located next to the Oak Hill Cemetery. So it is very quite. We have nice trees for shade, great views of the hills, owl and red tail hawk TV, lots of birdlife. We are five minutes away from Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, and Solvang.

Had a great stay! Was the perfect time away for our family and friends to enjoy a nice view, cook some meals, and relax. Hosts were great and even brought us some fresh eggs from their farm. Highly recommend staying here. Plus it is close to many wineries and just a few miles from downtown Solvang.

Jennifer and AJ were superb hosts! We were their first campers and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. Their land is beautiful, and the two campsites are lovingly outfitted with chairs, tables, fire pits and fun touches. We definitely would love to come back soon!

We had a wonderful stay. The camp sites have tables and fire pits (but too windy for fires for our stay). Our site had a shelf to store some of our items which was convenient. This is an area full of farms so it was very cool to wake up in the morning to the sounds of the animals waking up instead of a campground full of people. Solvang is just minutes away so we every morning we drove into town for espresso and danish bakery items. We would happily stay again.

This was the last night of our family camping trip. We have stayed at a handful of other Hipcamps and each had their particular element that I loved. This place hits was my overall favorite. Its tucked in the Los Padres Nat'l Forest, nestled in among oak trees. Close to vineyards, and Chumash lake. Although it didn't have some amenities that other hosts offer, everything was clean and the site had everything: flat ground, picnic tables, chairs and extra space to enjoy. Highly recommend.

We had a nice time on this peaceful
Ranch. The hosts were warm, friendly and super helpful! We had small children who really enjoyed the chickens. Didn’t have to deal with busy roads. Port-a-potty was really clean. Plenty of room for tents and trailer. Thanks for a great stay!
