The vibe at Jazzlin Rose Ranch
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Linda was very quick and helpful with all communication and our large group has a wonderful time at the ranch! There was plenty of space to camp and the bathroom, barn, sinks, and stoves were an added bonus! The horses and views also added to the laid back experience. I would go back on a future trip to Joshua Tree!
I arrived and was greeted by my host upon arrival - she is just the nicest lady.
There is a barn set up with a couch, kitchen area, sink, fridge, bar seating and a picnic table. There was also a toilet and shower available for use. Outside, there were horses that we fed carrots and then we played a game of horse shoe.
Sun set out here was lovely - lots of colors in the sky and then the moon rose and it was red. Incredible. Great camping/hangout spot. Very private and quiet.
Joshua tree was maybe 15 minutes away - just a short drive and down the road, there is this huge art sculpture area that you can walk through (free) - Noah Purifoy's.
This is such a great spot, I'll definitely be coming back!
Linda and her space were fantastic! The kitschy and comfortable barn was great for communal cooking and socializing, a cozy option on a cold, windy night. Though I am used to more rustic camping, having amenities like a stove, running water, flush toilet and the option for a hot shower was a lovely "glampy" alternative this time around.
As a host, Linda was accessible and generous with her time when needed and provided lots of great info on things to do in the area. Within walking distance, was the amazing Noah Purifoy's Outdoor Desert Art Museum; an absolute must-see. A special bonus, you can pet and feed carrots to her lovely painted horses. It's a fun, social spot to book for a group of friends.
