One of the larger campgrounds, Crags campgrounds has two loops. It’s location is beautifully shaded by Jeffrey pine trees and is in close proximity to both Robinson Creek and Twin Lakes! With fishing available, close trails to Yosemite, and restaurants, showers, and laundry facilities nearby, this is definitely a campground you can get comfortable at.

This campground was perfect for our group of 4, which easily fit into one campsite. It's a very open campground, not very many trees to hide you from your neighbors. The ground is mostly covered in bushes but there is a nice stream with decent fishing within walking distance, not to mention amazing hot springs a few miles away. We came in early September and the weather was perfect. The town of Bridgeport is a ten minute drive away. It has a few small markets and restaurants. Bodie is about 30 minutes away but totally worth the drive.
