Billy was a really nice host and left us plenty of firewood. Super close to national parks and the area is beautiful. However, the pictures aren't super accurate and the site is a lot more open (less forested) than we expected. The campsites are in the cow pasture, which wasn't super clear in the listing, so if you bring your dog, make sure you have a way to keep it tied up. Finally, the first thing we saw when we arrived was a proudly waving Trump 2020 flag - which, as a queer woman and her girlfriend, made us feel unsafe and uneasy while staying here, despite the hosts' outward hospitality.

Billy was a great host! He made sure we were taken care of and comfortable. The farm animals nearby start making noises at dawn, but I was able to fall back asleep for another couple hours. Overall, I would recommend staying here for Billy's hospitality and its proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

We had a wonderful time! Billy and his family met us upon arrival. He helped us fill up our water tank before showing us to our site. There is a pond for fishing and you can watch the cows graze. It was very peaceful and close to the State park.

The site was in the back of a field on a hill. We had no problem getting our 40 ft motorhome in there. There were plenty of trees for shade. The host provided a picnic table, garbage can and BBQ grill. The grandkids loved watching the cows and petting the horse. The host's directions were easy to follow. It is a beautiful drive, although be forwarned there is about 4 miles of very curvy mountain road on the way. Beautiful view of the mountains and short drive to King's Canyon and Sequoia National parks.

Meeting Max was the highlight of the stay for the grandkids. Happy campers!
