This site was great. We stayed with three kids 7,5, and 2 and they enjoyed being able to explore and we enjoyed the fact that we didnt have neighbors for them to bother! We had great sight lines on them so they were able explore quite a bit. At night it was amazing to sit by the fire and star gaze with the kids. Only thing I would do differently next time is bring one of our folding tables as cooking out of the back of our van was a little cumbersome.

Bill and Stephanie were super responsive and great hosts! We met up with Stephanie right on the main road and she led us right to our site and we were amazed by how beautiful everything was! Only 15 minutes from Joshua Tree we were able to set up camp and head right into the national park for a great sunset. The site itself was was stunning, really diverse plant life (so many different cacti!) and huge beautiful joshua trees! You could hear the coyotes yipping at night, and we felt super secluded and safe even though we were right outside of town. We can't wait to come back and stay here again.

Majestic MesaWe came at the perfect time for all of the cactus blooms!

Bill's communication was awesome and thorough. My husband and I had about 2 acres to ourselves. We were spaced out far enough from the other campers so we were undisturbed - we felt we had privacy and no one disturbed us. You are far enough from the main road so there aren't many distracting lights but you are still close enough where you can hear the faint noise of cars. The space is well maintained and the toilet was clean. Bill even brought us a fire pit - thank you!

Had a great time at Bill’s spot! It is very secluded with plenty of room to hike around and let the dogs explore. Not far from the National Park. The site has a nice camp fire ring, trash can, and camping toilet. Sunrise and sunset were beautiful. Bill was a great host. We will be back!

Bill was very friendly and responsive. This site is completely sufficient if you want more privacy than a campground, while remaining close to the JT park entrance and modern conveniences. The site is well maintained, has a nice fire pit, and the camp toilet and bathroom tent are more than adequate. It’s a large plot of land with a fun rock pile in the distance where you can hike and catch a pretty sunset. Please note that you will definitely hear road noise (the price of remaining close to said modern conveniences), but it quiets down around 9:30PM, and the neighboring lot of land is not as well kept as this property. So you may want to save your exploring for the park.

This was the perfect place to stay just outside of Joshua Tree, in a private setting, with room to roam around and explore (something our kiddos love to do). If you want to escape the crowds, and have a quiet night... this is for you. Bill (our host) was so easy to communicate with and a pleasure to do business with!

Our site felt very private and the grounds were fun to explore. There was mention of a shower tent in the description but there was no mention of it at check in. Bill was very responsive though and I'm sure, if we had asked, we would have found it.

Great stay, super close to Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. Secluded spot (#2) but well maintained. Fire ring and bathroom is at the site but heads up no picnic tables so make sure you bring some camping chairs and maybe a folding table if your planning on cooking and hanging out at the campsite. Helpful to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
