Amazing views and vibes
Mazen and Theresa are amazing hosts. This is a super unique experience where the hosts go out of their way to make you feel like family. Very generous, full clean bathroom with hot shower, and amazing views. It’s really one of the best spots.
Beautiful and secluded
Beautiful and secluded! My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here and the Hidden Ranch host Mazen gave us a memorable experience! Would absolutely camp there again! The view was perfect, over looking the entire lake! Thank You Mazen!
Gorgeous views! great host
My first impression upon arrival was that the view was spectacular! We were a small group who wanted some space to hang out, camp and enjoy the fireworks for July 4th. We were quickly greeted by Mazen, the host. He was one of the most accommodating people you could meet. During the day we escaped to a beautiful waterfall and enjoyed the local fair. Overall it was a perfect retreat, the views were epic and we will be coming back.
Absolutely stunning campground! Up on the mountain, you really do feel like you’re hidden away from society at this completely off the grid campground. There’s tons of privacy and incredible views of Lake Elsinore. Bathroom, running water, fire pits by request, pretty much everything you need (showers are still under construction, but who needs that camping anyways.) Mazen makes you feel like family and he brought us down to a watering hole by a waterfall nestled in the hills. Woke up around 6am to see the whole valley filled with clouds... felt like we were floating on them it was pretty wild. 100% recommend this spot!
Give me 1 more night uno noche!!!
We had a fantastic experience!!!
Our host Mazen was very friendly as well as the property care taker (Curtis)
The view up there is absolutely amazing!!!
I definitly reccomend camping up there the overall expierence was 2 thumbs up🤟🤙✌👌
Private epic views
Camping here is a BREEZE from start to finish. Greeted by cute Ranch dawgs and the sweetest man on a quad, we’re guided to our hand picked camp site, selected for ultimate noise deflection. Our big group and amplified sound would not be a problem as there NO “bad sites”. Careful terracing of the land has made every campsite very private with the same EPIC view so theres never any campsite envy/regret.
It just got better as the day went on too. Mazen took a bunch of us for a ride around the property in his old Ford truck, and was incredibly accommodating, even dropped an extension chord down for us. So many elements make this place an easy choice, location location location - its 5 min from the country store and the biker bar for easy pickups of supplies and a burger, or at the Lookout for country Breakfast just 8 min away, a glorious waterfall with pools just 5 min drive, a proper market down the hill maybe 15 min, the lake maybe 20 min, hiking & biking trails galore, I mean YOU ARE IN THE STATE PARK, what more do ya want?
Ok shade, ya may want shade, so bring it, it can get hot and most of his trees burnt down in the big fires last year, which sucks for many reasons except - the VIEW- it is miraculous and unobstructed, worth the price of admission and you wont find service and freedom like this in a state park - promise!
Not to mention adult time - I LOVE the freedom of having my coffee naked, and that is allowed. Also NO KIDS, so smoke that phat joint in the nude with out worry of someone cruising by your camp with their kiddos on training wheeled bikes.
The best time is the night. He’s got loads of wood so don’t bother lugging it here, just buy from him (TRUST), and set your fire in the ring provided and enjoy a HUGE starry sky without light pollution. Enjoying the view for miles, we set up a movie projector and watched movies with other campers we met, making popcorn over the fire - highly recommend that diy.
Facilities were adequate, toilets, running water, (all still being rebuilt) and he was very accommodating of local activities, recommendations, even invited me in for the best hummus ever. I look forward to seeing him expand the amenities and will stay tuned. Did I mention the security guard has a Macaw he let us meet and gave us special feathers!?
This place is MAGIC, the staff, their grounds - fantastic. Also Mazen really is AmaZEN! Well done and keep it up! We’ll be back!
Best campground view ever!
Words cannot describe how much this stay surpassed my expectations! Beautiful view and trails, amazing hosts (we met Curtis, Will, and Mazen) all incredibly friendly and inviting.
The campground itself literally cut into the mountain with over 180 degree view of lake Elsinore and surrounding area. Picnic table and fire pit (recommend the firewood add on, more than enough for a night).
So happy I stumbled upon this gem, 10/10 will stay again!
Hidden ranch is a hidden gem!!!!
Mazen is a consummate host, super chill, and an incredibly interesting person. We came in later in the night and he met us out on the fire road to guide us to his property! The pictures on Hipcamp don’t do this site justice; you’re literally right above Lake Elsinore, so you have the stars, the lights around the lake, and just before dawn, the clouds roll in, but you’re above the cloud line!! You look d o w n on the pink & orange clouds as they once again part to reveal the lake. Am so staying here again.
