If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
My boyfriend and I took a chance on this place (5/18-5/22/18), because we wanted to be close to town, but on our own. We were the only ones here, which delighted us, so we stayed an extra night. It is as Barbara describes, a large dirt parking lot with water and power hookups. There are about 8 of them. We also were happy that there were portable toilets in the parking lot. Super nice, too!
The thing to keep in mind is this is NOT camping, really. But it suffices as a cheaper alternative to the large RV parks (which may offer more amenities) or a hotel. We loved Paso Robles. This farm is in the country with a close proximity to wineries on this side of town. We rode our bikes all over the hills and did a little wine tasting. An night, we'd go to town and eat at one of the awesome restaurants.
Barbara is a great host. She left us alone, but was available if we had a question. Also, she brought us ½ doz eggs when we arrived, and also when we left, from her chickens…super yummy!
I recommend this farm to anyone who has an rv/trailer that is self-contained. There are no fire pits or fires allowed and no showers. Their main focus seems to be the cottage/event venue, and their B&B on their property. The parking area could use a little work, but it's not bad. We had a great time, the place is peaceful and gives off a great vibe!
