Rather not completely rough it? Have fun around the fire at night enjoy the stars then go to sleep in an airstream without having to pitch a tent or make a bed. Enjoy waking up to the sound of over 40 singing apes while still being nestled under your covers. Our airstream has two twin beds and a couch that pulls out into a full bed. After you walk around the center in the morning enjoy sitting on our patio and preparing breakfast on a BBQ grill where we have a small table for four. We have dishes and utensils so all you need is your food, plus if you need to keep something cool the airstream has a small fridge and freezer.

The vibe at Airstream Glamping with Gibbons
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Glamping at the Gibbon Conservation Center in Santa Clarita was a wonderful weekend retreat! We arrived around 5pm and this is "after hours" so we had the entire center to ourselves - roaming to see the Gibbons and their different breeds and personalities. Alma and Tiff were very kind, answering questions about the apes and the land. I loved that there was a shower on the premises, as well as dishes and silverware to make the weekend care-free. The airstream was so vintage - it was a true blast from the past! It was well kept, and spacious and the land cooled down at night so we could enjoy a cool breeze and make a fire after dinner. The grill was a huge help, and the entire property was quiet, relaxing and perfect for star gazing. Waking up to gibbon morning calls at sunrise was a once in a lifetime opportunity - I'm so glad we stayed here!
Fun time with me and my son - easy place to stay (accessible bathroom in the house, power / fridge in the Airstream, outdoor grill, fire pit) and very unique experience of getting to have the Gibbons Conservation Center to ourselves to walk around and watch the gibbons play. They do start singing at 645a!
