Location, location, location... Hiking, skiing, fishing - a park just down the street, nearby lakes, WiFi, and fully stocked kitchen. Our vacation cabin is unlike company owned cabins. Our cabin has a personal touch and I am always available by simply texting or calling directly. There are lots of fun board games and a pool table. If you have a large group over 10 people, you may want to rent this cabin AND our other cabin (Get Lost Inn 2) just 8 minute drive from this one. IG @getlostinn2

The vibe at Get Lost Inn 1 - Arrowbear Lake
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We had a lovely stay at Get Lost Inn 1! Our hosts sent us very detailed information upon arrival which made settling into the cute little cabin so easy. The property is so cute, and super family friendly. Located just steps from a small lake, playground and baseball field, there is plenty to keep your kids entertained outside. We spent our afternoon around the lake, chatting with locals and just taking in the fresh air. But if you're feeling super adventurous, you can make use of the provided fishing poles and see what you might catch! The cabin is also stocked full of everything you need to cook up a tasty meal - pots, pans, seasonings, cooking oils - and if you DO happen to forget something, you aren't completely stranded. There are plenty of gas stations and general stores nearby. The cabin also has plenty of evening or rainy day entertainment. The are closets full of great board games and toys, plus a nice DVD collection and TV with every possible channel and or app you could ask for! We decided to spend most of our night star gazing, as we don't get a lot of that where we come from. The skies are beautiful up there - so clear and bright! I highly recommend booking a summer or winter stay at Get Lost Inn. We can't wait to go back!
This cabin is perfect for families looking to escape. There is a park and baseball field for kids to run around. Also Blondie Bar and Restaurant is 5 min walk on the 18.
Our location was in the middle of some great hike areas. We took a quick 10 min drive to Green Valley lake where we spent the rest of our afternoons.
It was nice to have a full kitchen at our disposal but we BBQ every meal on the porch. We cannot wait to come during the winter.
Spent the weekend here with a couple friends & my family. We had a very good time here. The space was perfect for 4 adults & 2 kids. Any more than that might have ended up being a little "cozy." Everything about the cabin's description was pretty much as expected. It was all neat & clean. The location is great for many activities in the area, however, the little lake was still dry when we went in December due to lack of rain. Overall for the price, it was a very good place to stay. The beds were fine, there were a lot of toys for the kids, board games for us to play, and even snowplay equipment. The pool table wasn't really in working order--the balls all roll at a slant, haha. And the treehouse in the back is kind of cramped, even for my 4-year-olds. Other than that, we really didn't have any problems. The cold nights didn't bother us in the warm home, and we had lots of fun spending a little time up in the mountains sledding & visiting Skyforest Park.
