Frog Hollow - Lookout Landing
The campsite was private and spacious, but we were very disappointed we couldn’t have a fire and that the ground was very rocky. It was difficult to place our tents.

Frog Hollow - Lookout Landing
Not Worth the Price
The two camp sites here are really close to each other. Thankfully nobody else showed up when we were there or else the experience probably would have been awkward. Neither of the two sites had good, flat spaces for tents. The areas that are flat are full of rocks so be careful or else you'll damage your tent! I'm surprised nobody else mentioned this in their reviews. It was a big turn off for me and sleeping on rocks is never fun. The shower cannot be used by campers anymore so don't choose here if you're hoping for a hot shower. The porto-potty didn't have a lot of toilet paper so luckily we brought our own. I was surprised that there wasn't a bear locker but the owners said they haven't had bears before at the sites. We weren't allowed to have a fire and it would have been nice if the owners reached out and let us know that before our arrival. We weren't able to cook any food that we brought but there's local restaurants and diners just up the street. Next time I come for a trip to Yosemite, I wouldn't stay here again for more than one night. It's also really close to the main road so you'll be woken up by traffic in the early morning. I think for the lack of amenties and not having good land to set up on, this place isn't worth $30 a night.

Frog Hollow - Lookout Landing
Great spot, had the whole area to ourselves. Only downside is you can hear the road not too far away but the good news is you can’t see it. Hosts were accommodating and responsive.

Frog Hollow - Lookout Landing
Beautiful spot. Very peaceful setting. We were lucky enough to see a Bobcat go hunting in the morning when we woke up.

Frog Hollow - Creekbed Canyon
Nice little campiste in a private area, includes a picnic table and lanterns. The tent area is flat and there is a porta potty not too far away. The fire pit is closed for safety reasons.

Frog Hollow - Lookout Landing
last minute campsite, perfect!
A great site! Had a porta potty bathroom, nicely lit and well maintained paths, and directions were accurate. Make sure you don't put your tent on top of an ant hill and you'll be fine! Picnic table was super helpful. If other site occupied, you ca definitely hear them. 1 hour and 15 mins to Yosemite visitor's center
