We love to host families, individuals and couples, who are looking to take a fresh breath, and reconnect with nature away from the hectic city life. We are situated in the High Desert Hills next to the Los Angeles National Forest and the Devil’s Punch Bowl County Natural Area. There are beautiful trails for hikers as well as horses at about 4,750 ft (1450 m) elevation, with scenic views of the tilted sandstone formation on the northern slopes of the San Gabriel Mountains. We have washes on both sides of our property where you can spot a variety of wildlife, including deer. In the winter, it is not uncommon to get snow here. If we had enough snow fall in the nearby mountains, streams run through the washes in the spring. We also see the rainbow here every time it rains, because the sun is always present over the land during the day.
We pride our selves with providing the best close-and-personal experience with our free range horses, goats, sheep and chickens!
We offer riding and horsemanship lessons for beginners, hand-led rides for young children, guided trail rides with safe tandem riding option for children on the back of the guide. For the more experienced riders we allow for all day trail rides in all for gates- walk, trot, canter and gallop. We have 4 horses and a Shetland Pony, to accommodate a group, or a family. We also have a 24ft x 24ft x 5ft corral to accommodate bringing your own horses. There’s space to park your trailer and a 50 ft roundpen. Please, take a look at details and prices listed under the “Horseback Riding” section.
Kids and adults alike might enjoy brushing and petting our friendly horses, goats, sheep and chickens, and bottle feed baby goats and sheep in the summer. We also offer milking lessons when we have “fresh goats”. You can opt to have a Ranch Experience, including chores, feeding, gathering egg etc. Feel free to take photos with all the animals, or inquire about our professional photography option.
