Our Magical Lotus Belle tent is our newest addition to our sweet forest. You'll sleep in "Glamping" comfort and coziness under the oak trees in a beautiful tent. Listen to the chorus of birds in the morning as you relax under a canopy of oak trees. The Lotus Belle is a circular tent, similar to a yurt. It is luxuriously decorated with a King and Queen mattress (bedding included), both fold into couches, providing a fun lounging environment. The tent has an attached floor, canvas walls, 2 doors and windows, with screens & canvas to keep the bugs out. There is even an essential oil diffuser and twinkle lights! Our property has WiFi, and there is an outlet for charging your devices in the tent. There is central fire in the middle of the yard so bring your guitar and strum some tunes, or cook s'mores or shish kabobs over the fire. We are located near many great hiking trails, seasonal waterholes and rivers as well as several beaches and many wineries, restaurants and music venues. We are family friendly and offer a trampoline, swings and climbing structures as well. Bathroom is attached to main home, and has a private entrance, to be used exclusively by Hipcampers. Jacuzzi and Sauna available at special request and subject to additional charge. Please note, there are no pets allowed inside the Belle Tent.

What an amazing and peaceful little retreat! My son and I really enjoyed Bethanys lovely backyard, complete with chirping crickets and happy birdies. There's a fire pit w firewood just a short walk from the Lotus tent. The bathroom is a short walk through the yard up to the main house, but is accessible through the side yard and reserved just for the HipCamp guests, so you don't actually walk through the owners home. Bethany informed me that the belle tent would soon be relocated to a more remote part of their yard where they will build an outdoor bathroom, and a wrap around deck! Looking forward to that! Will definitely stay again, and recommend to other campers. The location is great, only a 3 min drive to downtown shops and restaurants, or you could hop on your bikes and get there in maybe 8 minutes. Cool spot!
We were on the way to Santa Barbara from Bay Area after the rush hour and need an overnight stay where our kid could enjoy the outdoorsy sleep and this was a perfect location for us to unwind and get a good night’s sleep in the yurt. Our kid wanted to come back and sleep there again someday soon!
The Belle tent was the perfect spot to split up our roadtrip and spend the night on our way north. Host is friendly and provides recommendations of fun activities around the area. Great value for the price!
Bethany was a very nice host. She showed us all the amenities she offers to her guests in a small tour of the property. The tent was beautifuly decorated and it was extremely comfortable. I made this reservation for a special occasion and the belle tent made things extra special.
Bethany was a very welcoming host. We were here for 2 nights and had a nice stay in their Lotus Belle tent. It was very nice to not have to have the hassle of setting up own tent, etc. There was a table with a “sink” and a hose next to the central fire pit location that was naturally became the kitchen to make/eat food. This set up made it easy and was our home base for exploring Central Coast area. It was great to have a real bathroom with sink and toilet accessible.
We were there during a little heat wave so we beat the heat by spending a beautiful afternoon at Morrow Bay (about 25 mins drive), this was the right speed for our littles, 2 and 4. Upon leaving, we found a great Children’s Museum, library and amazing park nearby in Paso Robles (about 10-15 mins away).
