Brewster & Elizabeth are incredible hosts! They're super kind and caring and make sure you have everything you need! The bathroom next to the sites has running water and there is also a propane grill with a side burner to boil water or make any meals. The view from the campsite itself is beautiful and you can even hear the river down in the canyon below which made it very easy to get some rest. Their address was very easy to find & I would absolutely stay with them again!
Brewster and Elizabeth’s camp is magnificent! Beautiful space, great amenities including outdoor shower, flushing toilet, running water and a huge picnic table. The view is fantastic - even from the lower site. Best of all, Brewster and Elizabeth are incredible hosts - they were so kind, and, for an additional charge, even dog sat our Ridgeback while we went hiking for the day!
Best hipcamp ever
Best Hipcamp ever!!! Amazing site, flushing toilet, outdoor shower, solar lights, dog sitting services, and the friendliest hosts! We had the best time and highly recommend.
Best campsite outside of sequoia!
Amazing place and host!! Such a great find. Hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to help us out of a jam. The site was absolutely adorable with a comfortable hammock, chairs and a nice picnic table with potable water onsite. We are definitely staying here again!
We absolutely loved our stay at Five Fours and would stay again in a heartbeat! Elizabeth, Bruce & their gorgeous pup Ruby were all exceedingly lovely, and the campsites were comfortable and set up so nicely and thoughtfully with everything you might need. Beautiful stars at night. Such a great location too, close to Sequoia and all the adventures therein. Very close to the road, but wasn't bothered by any noise. Can't wait to come back again!
This is a cute location with great amenities. The site had a grill, big picnic table, a hammock and a "outhouse" that was perfectly equipped with sink, toilet, light, and decorations. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It's very close to Sequoia NP. We had a great stay. We had 2 small tents, and wouldn't want more than that in the site or it would feel crowded. There was a bit of road noise in the evening, but when it quieted down, you can hear the river and see all the stars.
Awesome spot very close to Sequoia. The site was very clean and having the shower, water and toilet was great. Brewster was so kind. The view from the site is beautiful. Definitely would stay here again. Site was nice and private. The other site was not occupied when we were there but if it was occupied it still would’ve been great. The sites are spaced out nicely and it is nice that there is just 2 of them. We had a pop up tent on top of our Jeep and this site was the most ideal as we could drive into the site. Great spot to camp!
Friendly and amazing
Extremely fun and cool camping experience. The hosts go above and beyond to create a safe and welcoming environment. The bathroom and campsites are meticulously constructed and bridge a traditional tent camp experience to something much more intimate than a big public site. The views and location relative to Sequoia and Kings Canyon make this site an absolute steal for what it’s worth. Just 5 minutes from the Sequoia gate in one direction and gas/food/supplies in the other. Felt like home, can’t wait to revisit!
