ATTENTION: The National Parks have re-opened now that the voluntary evacuation warning because of the SQF Complex fire in Three Rivers has been lifted. The air quality is improving in 3R and is much better up in the parks. We are open again for Camping! We are booking this Corral campsite only. We are not taking bookings for our 2nd, Bunkhouse campsite to be safer during this unending COVID-19 pandemic. So you will NOT be sharing the bathroom or shower with other campers! Because we "meet and greet", we ask that you send us a ballpark ETA when you plan to arrive - on the day - so we can arrange to be here and available to show you around, while staying 6+ feet apart. This campsite is for 4 people of any age, race or persuasion. We are not booking larger groups than 4, even though the Bunkhouse campsite is not being booked. If you are a family that is larger than 4 people, message us your family group number and we can discuss it. Our driveway has a sharp, steep turn while climbing our hillside that stops us from hosting RV'S or pulled trailers. If you manage the steep hairpin driveway turn, there is no place to turn around once up. Children are welcome, though our place is very rustic and on a hillside, off of a main road. We are by no means "child proof", but we are child friendly. Three Rivers is a small welcoming village gateway to the southern entrance to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks. Our hillside property is located just 2 miles from the parks entrance. Our driveway spills directly out onto Sierra Drive, the road leading through town and into the parks - very easy to find! You can hear the sounds of the river flowing across the street below.  Unfortunately, we don't have river access; but there are some great places to swim a few minutes drive down the street. Here, you can all take unlimited outdoor showers to cool off! My wife Elizabeth and I bought our home in 2015 after falling in love with our hillside log cabin and its fantastic mountain views. Our dog Ruby was rescued shortly afterward and has been chasing the deer off of our property ever since! But they still come through. In addition to deer, we have seen quail, turkeys, raven, hawks, fox, bob cats, coyotes and bear; crossing an animal highway along our upper property line, above both campsites. We have birdbaths to attract wild drinkers and bathers; so there are many winged friends living on and around our place, especially quail. We currently have 2 quail families; 1 living on either side of our property. Update: not sure if it's the fires, but the bears are back in town .... and crossing a path on our upper property line! If you're lucky, you may spot one! They are generally very timid animals and will run away FIRST if confronted. Needless to say, we are animal friendly and don't charge extra for you to bring your dog(s) to camp. Please LET US KNOW YOU ARE BRINGING DOG(S), when you request to book. Our dog Ruby, a Black Mouth Cur, loves people and animals large and small and looks forward to meeting you and yours! We provide a safe, comfortable and quiet camping experience in a rustic natural environment. This outdoor campsite includes the exclusive use of a large hammock, a large propane BBQ (propane provided) also with a side burner for regular cooking, BBQ cooking utensils, a huge hand built picnic table, a cold water hose fed spigot and large bucket to wash dishes, 1 covered garbage can, and 1 covered recycling can. The site is designed for a maximum of 4 people of any age.

Brewster & Elizabeth are incredible hosts! They're super kind and caring and make sure you have everything you need! The bathroom next to the sites has running water and there is also a propane grill with a side burner to boil water or make any meals. The view from the campsite itself is beautiful and you can even hear the river down in the canyon below which made it very easy to get some rest. Their address was very easy to find & I would absolutely stay with them again!

Hi Taylor, Thank you for such a great review! You were our 1st hipcamper and it sure was a pleasure hosting you! Taylor moved to our upper bunkhouse campsite that has fantastic mountain views! So he was commenting on the great views from that campsite. This lower Corral campsite has more trees all around it, so it provides more shade; but has less clear mountain views.

Brewster and Elizabeth’s camp is magnificent! Beautiful space, great amenities including outdoor shower, flushing toilet, running water and a huge picnic table. The view is fantastic - even from the lower site. Best of all, Brewster and Elizabeth are incredible hosts - they were so kind, and, for an additional charge, even dog sat our Ridgeback while we went hiking for the day!

We absolutely loved our stay at Five Fours and would stay again in a heartbeat! Elizabeth, Bruce & their gorgeous pup Ruby were all exceedingly lovely, and the campsites were comfortable and set up so nicely and thoughtfully with everything you might need. Beautiful stars at night. Such a great location too, close to Sequoia and all the adventures therein. Very close to the road, but wasn't bothered by any noise. Can't wait to come back again!

This is a cute location with great amenities. The site had a grill, big picnic table, a hammock and a "outhouse" that was perfectly equipped with sink, toilet, light, and decorations. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It's very close to Sequoia NP. We had a great stay. We had 2 small tents, and wouldn't want more than that in the site or it would feel crowded. There was a bit of road noise in the evening, but when it quieted down, you can hear the river and see all the stars.

Awesome spot very close to Sequoia. The site was very clean and having the shower, water and toilet was great. Brewster was so kind. The view from the site is beautiful. Definitely would stay here again. Site was nice and private. The other site was not occupied when we were there but if it was occupied it still would’ve been great. The sites are spaced out nicely and it is nice that there is just 2 of them. We had a pop up tent on top of our Jeep and this site was the most ideal as we could drive into the site. Great spot to camp!

Extremely fun and cool camping experience. The hosts go above and beyond to create a safe and welcoming environment. The bathroom and campsites are meticulously constructed and bridge a traditional tent camp experience to something much more intimate than a big public site. The views and location relative to Sequoia and Kings Canyon make this site an absolute steal for what it’s worth. Just 5 minutes from the Sequoia gate in one direction and gas/food/supplies in the other. Felt like home, can’t wait to revisit!

Thanks Devin! Glad you had a smooth camp here and what a great picture! Thank you for sharing it. We are always surprised and grateful for the wonderful pictures that our Hopcampers post for of our campsites! Note to prospective Hipcampers: to clarify, this picture is from the Upper bunkhouse campsite. That campsite wasn't booked, so Devin camped at that spot instead and took this beautiful picture for us!

Such an amazing experience! The campsite was peaceful with a beautiful view. The hosts are very welcoming and kind. They even watched our pup while we went off on a hike, and they took such great care of her!

Would reccomend this to anyone! Planning on making another trip here someday.
