Fishella Motela is named after avid fisherman, hunter and friend, Phil Fishella who is no longer with us.  Located right on the Trinity River, the cabin is a cute 120 s.f. renovated shed with electricity and an RV/camp site. This site is a wonderful outdoor space for guests who either want to camp and/or sleep in the glamping shed and/or hook up their RVs. on the river.

(The other side of the property also boasts a second RV site (separate rental) with full hookups for additional guests, as needed. That site has wood stump seating and two hammocks and the pictures on the site will identify the differences).

Ideally, Fishella Motela can sleep 1 or 2 people on a double size futon bed/couch; however, when adding more than 2 people, the listing requires a $15/person charge. If bringing an RV, the site limits the number to 5 people, including children. All trash must be taken with you and the site cleaned upon departure as it was when you arrived. Internet and laundry services are available for a nominal fee.

The neighborhood is very safe with a lot of active wildlife in the area, beautiful stars at night and simple rustic charm.  Trinity has many recreational, entertainment venues, farmers' markets, and traditional events throughout the year in Lewiston, Weaverville and Douglas City. Please always respect neighbors, no noise after 9:30PM,  abide by speed limit signs, the land and animals and rental rules.

Guests are free to walk up and down the residential roads (Reo Lane and Poker Bar Road West), visit nearby Lewiston, Trinity and Whiskeytown Lakes, and the quaint towns of Lewiston are 2-3 miles away, Douglas City 6 miles, and Weaverville about 12 miles. Bring your kayaks, rafts or boats and launch right from my side of the property down towards Indian Creek and enjoy the beauty of the Trinity River!

Beautiful property but the location of the rental is not ideal for privacy and the smell of manure that Lisa uses in her garden is overwhelming to say the least.

We had a blissful stay on Lisa's land! The site was spacious, river was amazing, with great access to amazing hikes and swimming holes. Also - Lisa bakes, and is a warm and super helpful host. We hope to go back soon!
