Fishella Motela, named after Phil Fishella formerly of the Forest Service, is a cute 120 s.f. furnished shed with electricity and an RV/camp site right on the Trinity river. This site is a wonderful outdoor space for guests who either want to camp and/or sleep in the glamping shed and/or hook up their RVs.

There is a second RV site on the opposite side of the property, a short walk away. It is located in a woodsy meadow which has standard RV hookups (water, electricity and sewer) with lovely views of the Trinity forest. That site has two open fire pits (when burning is allowed), wood stump seating, and two hammocks. The pictures will recognize the differences as well as separate rental costs.

Ideally, the glamping shed can sleep 2 people; however, when adding more campers for the outdoors or RV site, the listing requires a $10/person charge.  All trash (and pet cleanup) must be taken with you and the site cleaned up as it was when you arrived. Internet is available with a fee as well as laundry services.

The neighborhood is very safe with a lot of active wildlife in the area, beautiful stars at night and simple rustic charm.  Trinity has many recreational, entertainment venues, farmers' markets, and traditional events throughout the year in Lewiston, Weaverville and Douglas City. Please always respect neighbors, no noise after 9:30PM,  abide by speed limit signs, the land and animals and rental rules.

Guests are free to walk or use their quads up and down the residential road (Reo Lane), visit nearby Lewiston, Trinity and Whiskeytown Lakes or walk to the west side of Poker Bar along the river's edge (nice blackberry picking in August).  The quaint towns of Lewiston are 3 miles away, Douglas City 6 miles, and Weaverville about 12 miles. Bring your kayaks, rafts or boats and launch right from my side of the property down towards Indian Creek and enjoy the beauty of the Trinity River.
