Well worth the switchback roads, what a gem of a little campground. Nestled in behind the local hot spot Franks diner, this campground is tucked along a stretch of storefront in what feels like a private get away. We only had 3 or the 17 or so sites full while there, so very private feeling indeed. The restrooms were clean and have flush toilets that function. The camp sites themselves are good sized and some are waterfront. Note: only the odd numbers are waterfront sites. Not that the others are far off. I don’t think any of them is more than 100 yards from shore. Given how empty it was Elvis and I had a chance to try out a few over the long weekend. If you’re a group, I’d suggest taking 1,3,5,7 to have fun as these are all very close together and on flat ground. They also have an amazing view of the sunsets. 13,15,17 are a little more secluded and still have the water, plus a little more space between neighbors. All-in-all a wonderful little spot which I will be visiting again soon.

Enjoyed our stay....wish we had stayed two nights. Very large campground-was great for a trailer.

Caught a few giant bluegill (catch and release.)

Would probably do tent camping next time. Campground had plenty of space. Road leading in was a little tight for a trailer (Rock Creek Road thru the hills.)

Great small campground with a cute little lake. Had food at the little restaurant and it was good too. Long stretch to get to the location, but worth the effort!

It's a small and quiet campground with a lovely little lake that was perfect for a lazy float day. There's also a restaurant with an outdoor patio that's perfect for when you don't want to cook.

Just spent the last four days/three nights with a quick getaway with the family. A-10 is not directly on the water but highly recommend it. It is very large and fit our family of 6 with two large tents, two cars and plenty of space. Short quick walk to access to the lake for the kayaks. Kids went fishing and swimming and had a blast. Walked around the lake to view a deer and baby eagle. Quiet little place to visit.
