I went for my birthday with a friend and it was honestly so amazing. The views are even better in person, incredible. Laurent and his family were so sweet and kind, making us really feel like home with great conversation. He even baked us fresh pastries for breakfast and gave us a great food recommendations for the city! The dogs were really sweet too (must like dogs, they’ll be there with you the entire time) it was such a peaceful experience. We stayed in their Jacuzzi for hours. If you are a light sleeper then I would definitely bring earplugs because the coyotes and roosters are loud. Also make sure you pack warm because it’s pretty cold at night! Will definitely go back

This place is a must stay!! The location is beautiful - perched atop of a mountain, with a view overlooking the valley and out to the ocean. It feels remote but is still an easy drive into Temecula and the wineries. The yurt itself is really cool - a good size, and with a little deck where you can soak in the panorama. It’s located in a corner of the property, away from the house, so it feels private. It has an outlet and was reasonably warm on a fall night. There are lots of animals around - a horse, a donkey, chickens, guinea fowl, a huge and friendly dog named Sasha, and when we visited a litter of kittens and one of Great Danes. And yet it was quiet at night - except the coyotes howling in the distance!

Laurent is amazing - so friendly and incredibly gracious. He gave a us a tour of the place, left us a bottle of wine in the evening, and made us coffee and staggeringly delicious croissants in the morning. We were sent home with a bag of fresh-picked passion fruit and the offer of fresh eggs as well.

Things to note:
- The pool takes about an hour to heat, so let them know in advance if you want to swim.
- Currently the bathroom is inside the house. Very nice and easy enough to access. Great to be able to shower.
- The bed is an air mattress. Still very comfortable.
- During our early October visit, the night was already chilly, so be prepared if you’re there in the winter.
- There’s an outlet in the yurt for your electronics.

We had a really wonderful stay here and will definitely be back again. I highly recommend it!

Thinking about where to drink wine next...A little taste of France in the hills of Temecula. You can see all the way to the ocean on a clear day.Pro tip: Bring carrots

What a dream! We cannot wait to visit Laurent and the farm again. 4 of us hauled up to Temecula for the holiday weekend to stay in this magical place. The pool is worth it alone. It was a bit chilly on our stay, so we opted for the hot tub more than anything. We had access to the BBQ and Laurent was a wealth of knowledge regarding winery recommendations. The sleeping facilities are cozy. Laurent was kind enough to let all 4 of us stay, when the space is more we’ll suited for 2. But, with an extra air mattress it worked fabulous! There is a quaint restroom outdoors or you do have access to the indoor facility too. MUST LOVE DOGS! Sasha and X are Great Danes that will love you forever. And they are very happy to be anywhere near you at all times. Haha! We had morning coffee with Laurent that turned into hours of conversation like we’d known each other for years. He is the most gracious host and the facilities were spectacular. Thank you, Laurent!

I'm so lucky Laurent was able to accommodate my request on such short notice! I had a fantastic stay at Finca Celeste - I wanted to take a quick "glamping" trip outside of LA by myself and this place did not disappoint. It was very comfortable, and the views were absolutely beautiful. The yurt, which is a very good size, is located to the side of the property. There is a pool that you're permitted to use which is great to cool down in the heat of the day. Laurent and his daughter Celeste were such lovely, generous, accommodating and welcoming hosts, and their Great Danes, Sasha & X, were adorable and super friendly. Laurent had excellent recommendations for things to do: hiking, hot air balloon rides, wine tasting and restaurants. It was so peaceful and I felt well taken care of especially as a solo traveler - would definitely go back! Highly recommend.

Laurent is the best ever, he made sure that everything was taken care of during our trip. The place is so gorgeous, the view alone is to die for. The yurt has an air mattress which was comfortable enough for a night of glamping. Will definitely come back to this place.

Laurent is very kind and welcoming and clearly has a passion for hosting. He took the time to show us around and gave us lots of local tips, and helped us when we needed anything. We loved swimming in the pool and the view is amazing. Nice that in mid-August it wasn't too hot (evenings cooler than expected). We were treated to delicious homemade jam and cake and coffee in the morning too. I think we maybe missed this info in the listing, but the garden space is shared with two Great Danes who are quite a big presence of the stay – they are very affectionate and sweet, but the young one is a bit playful and sometimes jumps up at you on your way to use the bathroom in the house which can be a bit daunting if you're not used to being around big dogs. We enjoyed our stay overall but think it would be improved with access to a private bathroom and shower (I think Laurent is working on this though :)

Staying here was an absolute dream. We live for our weekend trips as we don't get much vacation time from work - and we've been to Temecula before and had a poor experience so we were skeptical. But Laurent provided us with not only an exceptional experience, but so much inspiration. His working farm is SO special and perfect. Passionfruit, avocados, finger limes, pomegranates, tomatoes, figs (of all kinds), pears, etc. etc. the list goes on! They've got a beautiful horse, donkey and 2 sheep when you first arrive that just get you so excited to drive up the big hill to the house/yurt. We met his two beautiful Great Danes who protected us from any interested local wildlife and hung out with us. Laurent showed us around and answered all of our questions and then continued to work on the farm. He was so informational, warm, friendly, and gave us the perfect amount of privacy and was very accommodating to anything that we needed. He took us through the farm and helped us pick figs and pears, and then gave us delicious eggs from the chicken for breakfast. We used the BBQ both at night and for breakfast the next day. Can't forget to mention the INCREDIBLE brioche loaf that he baked for us (and passionfruit jam he had available). I really can't say enough nice things. The yurt was so comfortable and spacious and it stayed really dark in the morning which made it nice to sleep in - and we slept SO WELL. Laurent made us wonder what life would be like to leave the hustle and bustle of LA and live on a farm :) Now it's our dream! The pool was beautiful as well! Would highly recommend this spot to anyone! And we will definitely be back.

Beautiful property in wine country Temecula! Laurent was such an accommodating and wonderful host! The yurt is situated in their back yard which overlooks the town, and had a cute bistro table for coffee, eating, and reflection time :) Laurent let us use their fridge in the garage for food and we accessed the guest bathroom through their house.

We visited in the winter which was mostly tricky because it got dark and cold so early in the day, but we ventured into the town right nearby for some entertainment. The property has a gorgeous pool which I imagine would be perfect in the summer!

Laurent offered us coffee in the morning, and helped us with any questions we had. Beautiful location and wonderful host! Big thanks to Laurent and his family for the utmost hospitality!!
