Perfect!
This spot was a perfect home base for our trip. Welcoming people, animals & land. The views & air were restoring, the quiet & space were expansive! We had a welcome committee of dogs & goats. Lily (our youngest host) entertained us with observations & medicinal mud pies. Paco & Porter (best dogs ever) stole our hearts. Very nice that Ashley & Ed were so welcoming of our dog to be a part of the mix. Really relaxed hosts. The use of the indoor bathroom was very much appreciated. We would certainly return to this little paradise.

What a life!
I feel fortunate to be able to experience Ashley’s unique and special property! Was greeted by two fun and curious doggies who checked out everything I pulled from my car to prepare my campsite in between licking and loving each other. Later in the afternoon, the family returned home and I was able to meet Ed, who showed me around and told me the inspiring story of how they came to live here during Covid lockdowns and to offer up their home to hipcampers like me. Lily, their delightful daughter, enjoys chatting with visitors. The family kindly offered up access to their indoor bathroom (a wonderful hot shower!) and I was able to charge the devices I use for navigation and tunes. Only a single campsite is offered for hipcampers, and as a result this tent spot is peaceful and private. Enjoyed meeting the horses and goats and fed them some fruit.

Very relaxing & fun place
We loved our two nights here! We had three small tents - did most of our cooking on our camp stove but appreciated use of the kitchen for a batch of brownies (and the bathrooms with hot showers). The view out to the ocean and of the surrounding land was so nice. Very friendly host family, beautiful historic house, goats, horses, cats and Porter & Paco, a hilarious canine duo who kept us entertained throughout our stay. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you Ashley, Ed and Lily!

farmstay on Humboldt Bay
Our whole family had a great time, it was the most relaxing part of our 10 day RV road trip! Our kids became fast friends with Ashley’s daughter and they spent hours frolicking around the property, chasing the goats and the dogs. At one point we found our son wearing one of the goat’s collar - not sure how that happened. We enjoyed relaxing on their porch, having a drink, and enjoying the view & salty air. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place with lovely hosts, friendly animals and great view.

Charm and warmth
I love the atmosphere of the property. The dogs, the goats. The house is so beautiful. The spot where I parked my van was just private enough. And having access to the house let me meet everyone. The view was so serene. A unique spot for sure.

A sweet stay
It's beautiful here and very hospitable. I woke up with the fog and it burned away over the morning.
