Beautiful place. very welcoming.
We had a wonderful getaway! Guido, Emily and dog Jack are super friendly hosts, and their land and camp sites, complete with clean outhouse are all just perfect for enjoying a quiet time in nature. Fun to bring kayaks and paddle on the river too! Be ready for Northern California fog.
Peaceful respite in uncertain times
True Grass Farms is a slice of heaven in uncertain times. The stunning ranch and proximity to Dillion Beach is the perfect get away for social distancing (nobody for miles) and making memories. The estuary, beautiful native plants, and wildlife make this a treat for families. The well appointed out house, access to water, and fire pits make this a relaxing destination for adults. Don’t pass on the fresh eggs, sausage, and ground beef delivered to your camp grounds. This place is so special and unforgettable for the weary traveler who wants to escape the troubles of this hectic world.
This site and property are a gem!
This site and property are a gem! Within 24h of getting back home, we've already booked our next stay here. The photos don't do it justice. Beautiful views, animals in the distance, river passing by right there, tons of birds. Very private site. We enjoyed the firepit, walking on the property, the ranch's eggs and meat and just doing nothing. Feels like a million miles from the city, yet so close. Guido was a great host, patiently answering our many questions.
Great camping in west marin
We had a great time again at this site.
We just love the meat and veggies we have bought from the host Guido and they are fun to cook on the camp grill.
On this trip we brought our bikes and biked all over the place as well.
Beautiful, quiet, private spot. Definitely the most private of the sites. We camped in our van so this was perfect (one of the other sites you have to hike in). Loved the cows, birds, and views. Outhouse was very sanitary and cleaned daily. Communication was easy. Close to Tomales, and about 30-60 minutes away from great hikes at Point Reyes. Only complaint was the price is a bit steep for this spot. We had a great time :)
