We remain open during the Coronavirus emergency. If you need to "socially distance"; this is the place....no one around for miles. Blue Bonnet Ridge is a seasonal spot. Springtime is epic!

The 12' x 10' wall tent is perched in a field where you'll find 360 Degrees of breath-taking views  by day and  jaw-dropping star filled skies at night.

Furnished with a  queen size bed and luxury bedding, the tent has ample room to stand and move around in.  It is equipped with a wood burning stove for chilly Paso nights (seasonal). We provide a fire-ring grill  as well as a near by bath house(with hot water) and out house.

Family owned, the Enney Ranch is an 850 acres cattle and grain ranch situated on a ridge over looking the "wine country" of Paso Robles.  You are welcome to sit back and enjoy the vast open space; the peace; the quiet serenity of the Salinas Valley back country.  Hike the canyons and enjoy spring wildflowers or simply sit and watch the grain dance in the wind.  Or, if you're looking for more cultured pursuits, wine tasting at one of the award winning Pleasant Valley Wine trail wineries is just minutes away.  Just make sure you're back by sunset to enjoy the most spectacular views of the day.

How Blue Bonnet Ridge came to be:

Blue Bonnet ridge was a complete surprise to us as I had prepped this field to plant grain this year, the late rains conspired against me.  After "wasting" hundreds of hours prepping to plant 400 acres of grain, I was only able to get 70 acres in the ground.  Frustrated at having spent so much time and money and not being able to get my crop in the ground, I marveled one morning in late March as I realized that my work had helped Nature establish an epic 50 acre wildflower field.  The field had not been plowed since the 1970s, so 40 years of Lupine seed have accumulated.  The result; a 50 acre carpet of blue. We are grateful for this beautiful gift and look forward to sharing with our guests.

To say Kenney was a gracious host would be a ridiculous understatement! He checked on us to make sure we had extra firewood, gave recommendations for hikes and a weather forecast, and most significantly, towed our car back up the muddy hill after the rain took away all our traction.

The yurt is gorgeous and well stocked. The hot showers and propane up the comfort!

P.S. The outhouse is to die for. What a VIEW while going to the restroom (not something you typically get to relish)

My husband and I had an amazing stay here! The cabin was cute and comfortable. Kenny met us on arrival and provided extras such as coffe, cups and plates, grilling utensils and firefood... along with fresh grapefruits and kumquats from the trees on the property: The property: more than 800 secluded acres of beautiful hills, gorgeous sunsets and lots of wildlife. We saw jack rabbits, tons of birds, an owl, a coyote and avoided stepping on a non-poisionous snake while hiking the property each morning during our two-day stay. It's also about a 20 minute drive to Paso Robles, with a lot of vineyards located just minutes away, so we got in a lot of wine tasting. My husband and I would love to come back here with our 18-month-old son and dog.

Tremendous location! Super private and incredible vistas in every direction from this hilltop site. Arrived to a beautiful rainbow after a very brief shower, then a spectacular sunset that evening. Spent the next day in Paso Robles at wine tastings (very easy to get to). Woke the next morning to the distant mooing of cattle on the next hill over! Kenney was a great host and brought us some delicious oranges; super nice guy. We had an outstanding time!!

We actually ended up at the Lirio Cottage during our stay. Our host Kenney was most gracious and the accommodations were comfortable. Kenney continues to innovatively improve the camping experience on his ranch.

Firstly, Kenney (haha I totally get it now) is a fantastic host. On the day of the stay, he made sure to let us know what the weather is like and provide more concise directions on how to get to the site. He responded very well to texts and was very accommodating to our schedule (we were driving down from NorCal and wanted to make stops along the way). Upon arrival, Kenney greeted us and helped us with food and wine recommendations.

As for the stay, it was perfect! The location is away from the city, so you see a sea of stars speckled all over the sky. The bed was super comfortable, as a matter of fact, Kenney said it would be quite cold so the bedding provided was all flannel, with a wool blanket topper. I slept like a rock. Anything else you'd want to bbq or have a picnic is available. Only thing you need to bring is a bottle of wine and anything you'd want to cook.

Definitely recommend this spot if you want to stay in the area. I'd imagine springtime would look even more amazing.
