Peaceful - the most amazing stars!
This had to be the most peaceful place I've ever camped! It was truly magical. And the host was great - he texted me good directions (which make sure you have saved because you will lose service along the way) and he made sure I got there okay. He also let me know that the stars would be incredible at 2am so I set an alarm. It was incredible! Would love to go back again one day.
Beautiful spot right outside Death Valley National Park. Stopped here for a night on my way to Las Vegas & I am so glad I did! Super secluded with stars as far as the eye can see! I'll definitely be back :)
An unforgettable stargazing experie
We arrived at night and were greeted with a blanet of stars and the milkyway. We watched dozens of shooting stars. This area is compleyely remote; there is no light pollution to hinder the view. We woke up to the bellows of a donkey in the distance, which we continue to laugh about. We watched the sunrise over the surrounding mountians as we ate breakfast. It was a beautiful way to begin our vacation. We would recommend.
Secluded camping experience!
This was a super secluded campsite, made it for an amazing g stargazing experience. We got lucky and got to see donkeys at daytime and nighttime. It was so fun to hear them I. The background. Porter potties are not close to the campsite but I have no problem with that 😊
It's a shame to charge that!
Arrived on site, no signage camp if there really is one ... It is just a flat area, full of pebbles, there is just an unhealthy toilet 300m from the camp and nothing else . No protection, very dangerous because we saw a puma and no trace of human life. It's absolutely not worth the price, we had to find a real camp. It's a shame to charge that!
Alien slumber party
This site was amazing! We got there super late, but the cool little alien mailbox made it easy to find the site which is super private and secluded. We made a big bonfire, and then we were pleasantly surprised after it went out, the moon and stars were so bright we could see fine without any other lights. We had a great stargazing experience. It was so quiet, we could occasionally hear donkeys in the distance, which was funny. It also wasn’t very buggy and the climate was lovely. In the morning, we enjoyed the mountain views over breakfast at the picnic bench, before doing a mini alien themed photo-shoot and heading out. The portable toilet was a bit of a walk from the actual camping location, but that was actually nice because it didn’t kill the vibe. It was also quite clean! I’d definitely recommend this site to anyone who is really looking to unplug and camp among nature in Death Valley. We loved it!
