Nestled at the base of the Eastern Sierra mountain range this peaceful quiet location will welcome you with its 360 degree view of this beautiful land. Rest and relax during your travels North toward Mammoth Lakes or South toward the Los Angeles and Apple Valley areas. Las Vegas is also a nice 4 hour drive away. This area was established in 1943 around the China Lake naval base. Our property is a great stop located right off the highway within 6 min to Shell gas station and Subway. The city of Ridgecrest is close and is a frequent stop for people traveling along highway 395 and 14. Ridgecrest and Inyokern have some shopping and conveniences for travelers.   Learn more about this land: Welcome to Dragonfly Ranch! Come and boondock in this desert landscape at the base of the gorgeous Eastern Sierra's. We are located along the gateway to Mammoth Lakes ski resort, Lake Isabella and Kern River, or even Death Valley. Beautiful 360 degree views and amazing sunsets await you at this super quiet place to stay during your travels. Get off the highway to rest and relax here. VEHICLES WITH 4 WHEEL DRIVE REQUIRED - WE ARE ON DIRT ROADS 😀

      Boondocking halfway to Mammoth.
      We really loved to stay here for one night. The sunrise was wonderful! And Janell is so kind, and highly avaible to help you when needed ;-) And she cooks amazing cookies ! See you soon !
