In addition to the aquaponic and keyhole gardens, the Dome Asylum features several cactus gardens, a meditation trail, and a natural pool/tub. The Dome Asylum hippie homestead is wonderful for curious travelers. Experience glamping in our natural poolside cabana! The king size bed is sheltered by a covered patio next to our natural pool. Wake to the crow of our rooster, or perhaps our friendly canine co-hosts, Bailey & Klondike. There is a full bath for your use in our outdoor bath house. Spend some time meditating by the pool or snorkel with the fish.

Staying here was fun! I liked the decor, the host's friendly dogs, and many of the things that they built. They have a few communal areas to lounge around, including a pumpkin carriage. I was mesmerized by their sound booth/bus stop-- which you connect by bluetooth and can watch the fire dance to your music. That was such a unique feature. The bed can comfortably sleep 2 adults. The view is the view and the dome house. For privacy, you can cover your bed with their curtains. This would be a nice place to stay at in the spring, summer, or fall.

Make some cocktails and relax over here.lodging canvas tent vibesThe cabana is on the right and the other 2 are communal spaces to chill inFor privacy, you can close the curtains.

Great fun and very chill. Recommended for light camping with a real bed... Super nice hosting and pups (co-hosts).

I insisted on staying in the cabana on a particularly cold winter week. Dawn loaned me an electric blanket, and I slept well :) The pool area was a peaceful and sunny place to read and work during the day, and it was fun to run into Dawn, Wylie, and the dogs occasionally throughout the week. I want to come back in summer!

I will definitely be coming back here. Dawn was amazing and so nice and extremely accommodating to our very last minute request. Very prompt with responses to questions and so kind to let us come in so late at night. It was a well needed mini vacation and so relaxing. The area is gorgeous and they have such a beautiful yard and environment to be in. I am so thankful that we found this cabana and got to enjoy the area.

Beautiful home and cabana area! Dawn and her canine co-hosts were very welcoming. I visited at a time when it was too cold to try out the natural pool, but Dawn's place had everything I needed for my stay. Thanks!
