If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This site is an amazing little oasis. The property offers so much, and the yurt is a perfect sleeping setup. We spent most of our time in enjoying the sun and the natural swimming pool - being able to swim with the fish is a blast! There's plenty of places to relax and enjoy the weather, as well as a barbecue and sound system. There's also plenty of assorted sculptures and other art around the property! The site is a short drive from town, where there's an abundance of cool little shops. We really enjoyed Packards Coffee Shop, as well as an amazing Thai restaurant down the road. I would make sure to enjoy the afternoon sun swimming with the fish if you visit.
We had an amazing stay with Dawn, and the space she has is so beautiful and relaxing! I loved hanging out on the patio, and especially so when the two dogs and kitty came to chill as well. We would definitely book this spot again!
We had a great time getting away for the weekend, and the Dome and its many animals were great! Dawn was very responsive to our questions and requests and we're very grateful she and Wiley (sp?) shared their Dome Asylum space with us. Thanks!
The place is quite charming and comfortable. The hosts were really friendly and we had a very good stay.
There are parks around that one can easily access and go for hikes. The sunset and the stars were amazing!
A minor detail was that the wi-fi signal did not reach the inside of the yurt.
Overall, would go again, still need to hike to the potato chip rock!
The house and it’s grounds were great, beautiful cactus and creative art piece. We enjoyed our stay hanging out by the fireplace and the clear night sky. Next time we will make time to enjoy the hot tub and the fire/music piece.
Great escape !
We really loved staying at the Hexayurt and were enjoying the patio and natural swimming pool. It surprised us to have no cell or Wifi reception in the yurt, but I believe that is just better for your zzzs.
Also need to mention the amazing sky full of stars at night and the lovely chickens, dogs and the cat walking around. Close distance (car) to the centre of Ramona, that has a few good options to eat and a very nice natural food store.
