My family and I stayed here for just one night, but it was so much more beautiful and bigger than I expected. We only had time to hike to the waterfall and that was amazing! You really can see the stars at night. Our toddler was in love with the whole experience. The horses are so sweet. Diana and Ken are incredibly nice people that made us feel right at home! 100% recommend for a day trip and an extended stay trip, can’t go wrong! Thank you for our stay :)

Diana and Ken are some of the most welcoming, warm, and accommodating hosts I’ve come across in my hip amp experience. Upon arrival, they asked if I needed anything and gave me a tour of the property, explaining the amenities available and introducing me to the resident animals: 14 horses and 2 dogs.

The tipi itself functions not only an aesthetic adventure, but a temporary home as well. There’s a portable fire pit centerpiece inside which provides warmth, lighting, and completes the experience before you doze off into a dream land.
The activities on the property are seemingly endless - star gazing, animal petting, horseshoe throwing, disc golf, hiking... the list goes on.
I’d recommend staying here to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and experience a true descanso (rest).

Diana & Ken were the most gracious and flexible hosts who received us right before a strong Winter storm so they really got creative and shared their additional support and generosity of HEART. They are a delightful couple who have been stewarding the land for many years and the love and care they have for the whole history of the property truly shows! We felt so welcomed on every level and will most definitely return during the warmer Springtime seasons for the greener landscapes again. Thank you so much for your combined hospitality :)

I don’t know where to start because my family and I had such a wonderful experience.

It was the perfect relaxing getaway, Ken and Diana are the most welcoming sweetest people ever. The tipi is located on their property and they were nice enough to show us around and chat with us. Lots of exploring and hiking around. Perfect for a small family who hasn’t had much experience camping. I definitely recommend the sweetwater tipi.

We had such an amazing stay! We booked the trip for our 2 year wedding anniversary and it was more than we expected. Diana and Ken greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of Clark Ranch. There’s a bathroom with a shower, a grill, a fire pit, horses, a stream within walking distance that they put boards on so you can cross, and of course the tipi! It’s very private and it was so awesome to walk outside the tipi at night and see all the stars. Diana and Ken are so kind and welcoming, they really do make you feel at home. It was definitely a trip we will never forget :)

This was one of the most amazing weekends I’ve ever had! Ken and Diana are the loveliest, kindest, and most accommodating hosts you could ever ask for and the site is truly incredible. Ken and Diana provided a history lesson of Clark ranch along with a tour of the premises and helped point us in the direction of an amazing hike! The teepee was spacious, comfortable, and stylish. Ken helped set us up with a fire inside the tent, on the bbq, and with the outdoor fire place. There was no shortage of heat! I can’t recommend this spot highly enough! I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

This was a refreshing getaway from the City. Sleeping under the stars in a grand teepee should be a must do on everyone’s bucket list. The Clarks were most gracious hosts and had a certain rustic warmth to them, that just surpassed Americana. There was a nearby trail that lead to a watering hole to which we played in. The cherry on top was coming back to a BBQ and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Tranquility can easily be found on this campsite and I highly recommend it.

What a great experience. Diana and Ken really go the extra mile (literally... took us a mile down a trail to show us where to go) to make guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The ranch that houses the tipi is beautiful and alive, and a great place to get away for a couple of days. The trails in the surrounding area provided a nice hike, were not too challenging, and had some really pretty views. Definitely recommend!
