The Sugar Shack is a magical and mythical place. Count yourself lucky to stay here for a night or more! Inspiring and cozy, this little nook is a perfect place to read and sleep between days of exploring the beautiful coastline. Diana, the host, showed us around when we got there and was always available if we needed anything, which we didn't really because she had thought of all of it, including a sheet to throw over the bottom bunk so our doggy could curl up like the queen she is :) . The water is delicious, the redwoods stand tall and offer their healing wisdom, the cabin itself is filled with treasures - a time capsule of our collective memory. Truly, we felt transported. The amenities are rustic, it is like camping with a bed and a warm rosy glow - so if you know that going into it you will be utterly delighted! The outdoor crescent moon counter is a perfect kitchen staging area, so bring your camp stove and some easy meals and feel your aches and worries melt away.
Diana was so sweet and welcoming, and the sugar shack was so cozy and adorable! I highly recommend!
The Sugar Shack is a small but unique structure situated on a beautiful piece of property within minutes of the ocean. Diana was a very gracious host and made us feel at home. Great price compared to other options and a special host too. Thank you!
