I almost don’t want to let others know how much I liked it, as I’d hate to not be able to book it when I want, lol. It was cozy in 30-40 degree nights, no wind inside. Outside there is a porch with small solar lights for night visibility, a unique refurb. tire rim fire pit; a Coleman stove camp with fuel(!), and a charcoal grill for you purists. I had friends over in the main camp, and I went back & forth to visit their camp fire, then hang out by mine.
Made breakfast and sat in the shade on the chalet porch, enjoying my coffee, watching the morning. There is now a wash basin and water supply to clean dishes.
Best for one person, or two people who are close. Bed fits one best, very cozy for two. There is room for a small tent outside.
Chalet locks with a code when you are away, and has a turn knob lock when sleeping. Not needed, but nice peace of mind.

What an absolutely magical place! Perfect mix of remote (the stars here are amazing) and comforts with the flush toilet and cooking amenities. The chalet was cozy and clean. Absolutely will return. Great host. Friendly and accommodating. Thanks Judy!
I highly recommend this spot! The host was very friendly and helpful. The chalet was a great shelter from the wind and rain and had lots of sweet touches inside. There were helpful amenities like grill set up outdoor chairs, access to a port-o potty, sink, and water. The location is beautiful, just at the base of a small mountain with great views. Very close to the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The space felt private and also easy to get to, and I would definitely stay there again if going to or through Joshua Tree.
I loved this camp site. The property is at the edge of the town of Joshua Tree so it is very private and quiet. It is slightly elevated so the the views of the valley and mountains are extraordinary. There is no light pollution so the stars are beautiful. There is even a private mountain behind to climb for better views or to have a small campfire at the top. It is only 10 minutes to town where there are nice local restaurants / bars / shopping. The park is about 20 minutes away. Everything is clean and well cared for. I chose the chalet as I was there in January when the night temps were in the 30's. It is the deluxe site on the property. I strongly recommend it if available.
The night time is beautiful and the quiet is so relieving i would 10/10 recommend if you love the desert and you love the stars.
